Through Teach for Hanoi University, I have spent nearly ten years as a teacher of English and I have devoted myself to teaching English too. I have gained experience teaching students in different programs and projects. Over the years, I have come to realize that there is a disconnection between what is expected after graduate and what is actually taught at universities. I also understand the difficulties that the students face and the challenges for educators. Clearly, I have seen the overwhelming successes that can be achieved, especially for the English Majors. Thus, I hope to bring success to students.

Day 1 & 2: Giving background knowledge of Tourism (Geography, Polictics, Cultures...) in Vietnam Day 3: Airport / Station Pickup & Hanoi City Tour Day 4: Tour Ha Long - Cat Ba Island Day 5: Hoa Lu- Tam Coc, Trang An, Bich Dong, Cuc Phuong, Kenh Ga, Phat Diem, Perfume Pagoda Tour Day 6: Sa Pa Tours (Trekking, Climbing, Homestay, Market...), Northeast Loop (Hanoi – Babe Lake – Cao Bang (Ban Gioc Waterfall) – Lang Son – Hanoi) and Northwest Loop (Hanoi – Mai Chau – Son La – Dien Bien – Lai Chau – Sapa – Hanoi) Day 7 & 8: Tour Operation (Tour Operator), Marketing online ( SEO, Search engines, Blogs, Articles, Keywords, Advertisments...), Sales Online (Design and quote a tour for tourists) Day 9: Study with Experienced Guides of VivuTravel Day 10: Group Works (Practices) Day 11: Going on Tour with VivuTravel as Doing Practices (Entrance fees, drinks, food on own expenses) Day 12: Tours Discussion and Course Summary- Closing Ceremony. I’m writing with my warmly-hearted words to my students and people concerning about Tourism.
To make things come to life, I myself in cooperation and joint force with Vivutravel to open a " Guide Training Course" in early September 2011. And from the bottom of my heart, I believe that it is part of my duty to help students to learn from the past in order to better their future. My desire is to move to the new teaching stems to take on a new challenge at our society: Train students to become Professional Tour Guides RIGHT NOW within a short period of time!
I am Nguyen Minh Tuan, Director of Vivutravel, a graduated student at Hanoi University (FA 98-2002). I used to work as a tour guide and have been running my own business "Vivutravel" from 2006. I have a lot of experience and knowledge in Vietnam Tourism and I really want to share with you all. I also realize that Vietnam is in need of good foreign language speaking guides and especially the well – trained guides with good knowledge or background of Vietnam culture, history... that international tourists want to learn and explore.
