ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival By your own arrangement to check-in the Prince Palace Hotel Overnight at the Prince Palace Hotel, *** or similar

We continue to the small town of Dan Sai, which is famous for its annual Phi Ta Khon Festival (a kind of Thai carnival). In Dan Sai we visit the old temple of Phra That Si Song Rak with its plaster covered brick pagoda, measuring 33 meters in hight, built in 1560. As it is the symbol of peace between Ayutthaya and Si Sattana Khanahut (Vientiane), red colors are taboo in the temple grounds. Another exciting temple in Dan Sai is the recently built Wat Neramit Wipattasana, a laterite stone temple on a hill top setting, founded by local monks. In the temple hall there is a perfect replica of the famous Phra Buddha Jinarat of Wat Yai in Phitsanulok. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we drive to Phitsanulok, the 2nd most important city of northern Thailand. Here we visit Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat (“Wat Yai”), with its famous Phra Buddha Jinarat. In the early afternoon check in at the relaxing “island” resort in Phrom Phiram, built in the middle of a tropical garden. Enjoy the pool, play some golf, or try the paddle boats for the remaining afternoon. Overnight at Suan Nam Waterland Resort***, Phrom Phiram (Phitsanulok), or similar.
Day 5: Phrom Phiram – Sukhothai – Bangkok Meals: B, L + Guide After breakfast, we visit the Sukhothai Historical Park with its magnificent temple ruins of Wat Mahathat and Wat Sri Chum. From here, we return to Bangkok where we will arrive in the afternoon. Lunch is served in a local restaurant. The trip ends at the Prince Palace Hotel where you will spend the last night.
