On festive days, the pagoda is decorative with flags, banners, colorful lanterns... Along the road from tam quan (three-entrance gate) to the shrine 12 lanterns are decorated which is symbolizing for 12 months of the year. At the end of the festival, these lanterns are public sale, and the gaining money is used for charity.

Ba Pagoda Festival of the Hoa attracts a great number of people from neighbouring provinces. The pagoda was built nearly in the first half of the 20th century by groups of the Chinese.
