Once part of a 15th century hall named Quan Su to entertain guests of the Kings, the Ambassador's Pagoda was built so that guests couuld comfortably worship. The hall burned to the ground, but the Pagoda was spared during the fire. It narrowly escaped destroying one more time, as it was the only pagoda not to be destroyed during the final days of the Le dynasty.This stately pagoda still actively serves as the headquarters of the Vietnam Buddhist Association, and Government officials often make official visits and hold ceremonies at this Pagoda.
