Day 1: Arrival Hanoi

Upon arrival, our private Vietnam Tours guide and driver will welcome your Vietnam Honeymoon Holiday, pick up and transfer to the hotel for check in. Hanoi, a city where the exotic chic of old Asia blends with the dynamic face of new Asia. Where the medieval and modern co-exist. A city with a blend of Parisian grace and Asian pace, an architectural museum piece evolving in harmony with its history, rather than bulldozing through like many of the region’s capitals. Hanoi is where imagination becomes reality.

Day 2: Hanoi City Tour

Hanoi without a doubt is an exotic city for your Vietnam Tours. Today we enjoy a full day Hanoi city tour of this charming capital city including the mausoleum of the nation's founder Ho Chi Minh (close on Monday & Friday), the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, the impressive Ethnologic Museum, the beautiful West Lake, the Tran Vu Pagoda, the peaceful lake of the Restored Sword.

Late afternoon we take a cyclo tour for a short excursion through the bustling old quarter streets named after the specific goods once offered for sale at these places. In the evening, we end Hanoi city tour with a fantastic traditional water puppet show. Free time until transfer to the train station for overnight train to Sapa.  Overnight on board

 

Day 3: Lao Cai – Sapa Tour – Topas Ecolodge

Topas EcolodgeUpon your arrival, pick up byTopas Ecolodge, Sapa topas ecolodge, topas ecolodge sapa our guide and driver to Sapa where we have already arranged a room in a mini hotel for shower and breakfast, free to visit Sapa. At 9h00, you will commence your journey from Sapa by car to Lao Chai village, a Black H'mong ethnic minority village. You will then be able to walk from Lao Chai to Ta Van village where the Giay ethnic minority hill tribe lives. Here you will be able to rest and enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by your guide in a local house. After lunch the walk continues through a bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai; a Red Dao ethnic minority village. After taking a rest near a waterfall to refresh, you start climbing uphill to a road where the car is waiting to transfer you to Topas Ecolodge. You check in to your bungalow and enjoy the view into the valley and dotted mountain surroundings.

 

Day 4: Topas Ecolodge – Sapa

At 9h00, you will commence the walk today by following the road for a while before turning on a small trail running downhill toward a suspension bridge at the bottom of the valley set over the long beautiful river. The walk is through the rice paddy terraces, hill sides and you have many opportunities to enjoy the magnificent valley views and encounter animals like water buffalos, goats or mountain pigs, which belong to the nearby Tay and Red Dao minorities, but are living their wide life. At noon you will cross the suspension bridge and enjoy lunch in a Tay minority stilt house. After lunch, you will follow another trail along the river towards the Ban Ho village, also inhabited by Tay ethnic minority. If the weather permits, you can walk to a small waterfall near the village, where it is possible to swim. Ban Ho is situated in the large picturesque valley beneath Topas Ecolodge. Here you will experience the daily activities of the villagers before being transferred back to Sapa town. Tonight you will stay overnight at a comfortable hotel in Sapa town.

 

Day 5: Sapa – Market Tour – Lao Cai

In the morning, drive to visit one of the areas weekly markets;

Day 6: Hanoi – Halong Bay  Cruise

Halong Bay CruisePick up from the train station, this morning, we have already arrange a room in a mini hotel for you to have shower and breakfast. Halong Cruise must be the most beautiful tour in Vietnam for any visitors to Vietnam. This morning, after breakfast, we drive to Halong Bay (165km), Vietnam most scenic sight, a recognized World Natural Heritage Site and highlight of any Vietnam Tours. Upon arrival, board your traditional wooden junk. Welcome drink on board. After a relaxing break, enjoy a delicious seafood lunch while cruising through the wonderful Ha Long bay visiting its amazing grottoes and caves. Opportunity to dive off the boat and have a pleasant swimming in the deep blue water of East Sea before relaxing on your sun deck to view a Halong sunset.  Dinner on board with excellent fresh seafood. Day 7: Halong Cruise – Hanoi – Hue

Halong Bay is pure art, a priceless collection of unfinished sculptures hewn from the hand of nature. It is absolutely true when you get up early to catch the sunrise on the bay, doing Ta Chi on sundeck and relax with a cup of hot coffee or tea when the boat cruising to explore more of Halong Bay. Day 8: Hue – Hoi An

Hue city TourHue is one of places, which has many cultural heritages. Up to now, there is no place like Hue remaining a lot of originally historical vestiges as in this ancient Capital City and favorite destination for all Vietnam Tours. After breakfast, our tour starts with the visit to Imperial Citadel before taking the beautiful boat trip on the romantic Perfume River and visit Hue's best-known religious site-Thien Mu Pagoda and the Mausoleum of former emperor Minh Mang in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes. In the afternoon, drive to Hoi An, a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries whose architecture and relaxed lifestyle has changed little over the years. This scenic drive passes through the fishing village of Lang Co before climbing over the Pass of Ocean Clouds. Upon arrival in Hoi An, free to take walking tour of the Hoi An ancient town centre. Overnight in a Hoi An hotel.

 

Day 9: Hoi An Cooking Class

We start the day (8.15am) with a welcome drink at Hai Café

(98 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Hoi An Ancient Town, Tel: 863210) – our meeting point.

Visit Hoi An’s colourful market, and experience the amazing sights, sounds and aromas of this busy market. We will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers and learn about all the ingredients to be used in the cooking lesson later.

We board the Red Bridge boat for a leisurely cruise (25 minutes) along the Hoi An River to the Red Bridge Cooking School. This is a chance to view local river life, so make sure your camera is handy.

On arrival, we explore the cooking school’s herb garden, before learning about some of Hoi An’s and Vietnam’s well-known dishes. The cooking lesson runs for about 2 hours – the Red Bridge chefs first demonstrate each dish before we prepare the same dish ourselves. Included in the class is a brief introduction to Vietnamese food carving (plate decoration). After the lesson, we sit down and eat what we have cooked.

Bring your swimsuit and after the cooking tour has finished relax and enjoy free use of our new 20 metre swimming pool.

Day 10: Hoi An

Hoi An Ancient Town - highlight of any tour to Vietnam that no Vietnam Tours maker would skip, is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. Its buildings and its street plan reflect the influences, both indigenous and foreign, that have combined to produce this unique heritage site.

Day free to cycle through rice paddies in the countryside of Hoi An ancient town, shop for souvenirs among the antique shops and art galleries, or just sit at sidewalk cafes and soak up the atmosphere of this quaint town. Or relax on the white sandy beach of the famous China Beach. Overnight in a Hoi An hotel.


Day 11: Hoi An – Danang – Ho Chi Minh City

After breakfast, our Vietnam tour guide and driver in Hoi An will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh city with Vietnam airlines. Arrive at Tan Son Nhat airport, welcome by our private Vietnam tour guide and driver and transfer to you hotel for check in. Ho Chi Minh, the most exciting city of Vietnam, a mecca of commerce, also a city with a chequered history and a rich culture, its pagodas, museums, public buildings, parks and boulevards make it one of the most delightful Vietnam Tours and cities to visit in Vietnam. Day 12: Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi Tunnels – Ho Chi Minh

At Tay Ninh visit the incredible Cao Dai Great Temple, with architecture that could have come straight from a Walt Disney fantasy and where all the major faiths of the world blend together in a unique religious cocktail. In the afternoon, visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence where you will understand more about the Vietnam War or American War, a must see Vietnam Tour for any tourists to learn about Vietnam past and present days. Day 13: Ho Chi Minh - Mekong Delta & My Tho – Ho Chi Minh

After breakfast, we Drive to My Tho (65km) - the quiet capital city of Tien Giang province, is the traditional gateway to the Mekong Delta, an interesting Vietnam Tour to catch a glimpse of the famous river. On arrival, we visit the beautiful Vinh Trang pagoda, the most famous pagoda in the south of Vietnam whose architecture is a mixture of Vietnamese, Kh’mer and Chinese before taking a private boat trip along the small canals of Mekong River seeing the daily life of the Mekong River people in both sides of the river. Then take a short tour by “xe loi” (motorized rickshaw) on the rural lane to the bank of Mekong River visiting a rice farm, coconut candy factory and honey bee farm. Continue our journey by sampan through the canals and mangrove forests to reach an island. Stroll on a fruit garden, taste diverse types of seasonal fruits, tea mixed with bee’s honey and enjoy a special folk show of traditional Mekong Delta music. Afternoon drive back to Ho Chi Minh.


Day 14: Ho Chi Minh – Phan Thiet (Muine Beach)

Mui Ne Phan ThietThis morning, we take a private car transfer to Phan Thiet (5 hours). Once a part of the Cham Kingdom, it’s now a perfect stop for Vietnam beach holidays and to end your Vietnam Holiday, an unremarkable town with a reasonable beach, some decent hotels, and a very good golf course. In a nice setting with white sand beaches and coconut trees, the beach resort of Phan Thiet is also endowed with amazing spots such as sand dunes, natural lakes and astonishing red canyons. Phan Thiet still has sizeable populations of Cham and Raglai ethnic minority groups. The former are a part of the area’s Cham heritage. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel, free time at leisure. Overnight in a Phan Thiet hotel.

 

Day 15 – 17: Phan Thiet (Muine Beach)

Days are free at leisure for you to write about your Vietnam Tours experience or to explore the area including the fishing village of Mui Ne which locates at the far end of the beach, the village and several hectares of massive rolling sand dunes make a pleasant diversion from relaxing on the beach, swimming and windsurfing. The village is worth a visit for three reasons – firstly, very few tourists go further than the dunes, secondly, the small harbour is picturesque (there’s an excellent view from where the dunes road turns off) and thirdly, there’s an interesting pagoda where followers of Vietnam’s whale cult hold services and store skeletons of the massive sea mammals.

Day 18 : Depart Ho Chi Minh (B) (G)
