Our choice for a stay on Phu Quoc. The resort is so popular, it doesn't bother to advertise, or even erect a roadside sign indicating its location. The semi-enclosed restaurant/bar is the best on the island, with tables reaching nearly to the surf line. The two hectares of grounds and gardens are maintained meticulously.
 
The six rooms and nine bungalows are spacious and attractively appointed in a way that seems to fit in splendidly with the island's ambiance. The larger beachside bungalows are a sheer delight, with thatched ceilings that stretch to the sky, comfortable rattan furnishings and private patios overlooking the coconut-lined beach. The rooms are currently being fitted with hot water and air conditioning, but it hardly seems worth it.
