VISITOR INFORMATION: Foreigner Tourists entering Phuquoc Island are exempt from visa for temporary residence period not exceeding 15 days or to an international border gates of Vietnam, then transfer to Phuquoc are also exempt from visa requirements under this regulation. International airport opening in 2012. Currency: Dong. Climate: dry weather from November to June; rainy season from July to October. Average temperature from 250C to 280C (770F - 820F).
TRANSPORTATION: From Tan Son Nhat airport: 300km, 60-minute flight with ATR 72, 10 flights per day. 131km from Rach Gia airport, 30-minute flight with ATR 72, 02 flights per day. From Rach Gia port: 120km, 150 minutes of high speed boat, 06 trips per day.
