Everywhere in Vietnam you can see rice. Vietnamese people eat rice everyday in their meals. Rice is part of their life and it reflects the Vietnamese culture. Nowadays, technology is applied widely in producing rice and that helps people less hard. Therefore the old traditional way of producing rice is still kept unchanged in some parts of the country as it is the basic work to have rice.

Vivutravel would like to help tourists understand the hard life of the countryside people. You can join us to learn about full life rice from making soil to making paddy into rice. We instruct you all of the work with local people. Apart from the rice work, you also learn about the life of people in the countryside Vietnam. We back you to the old life of the countryside people. You will see and talk to them about rice. You will join us to help the farmers work on the field.

Tour itinerary:
– Pick up guest(s) at the appointment to Buffalo Cart Station
– Relax on buffalo cart through the countryside to farm site (15 minutes)
– Ride buffalo,  do photo shooting with buffalo (30 minutes)

– Join with local farmers to work on the field: raking soil, harrowing soil,  transplanting rice, scooping water with different scoopers (60 minutes)
– Learn how to make white rice from rice seed: grind paddy by husking mill, winnow, pound & sift rice; grind white rice to make wet flour and do rice cake. Have some snack, specialties of the area: Tam Huu, Fried Spring Rolls, Banh xeo (45 minutes)
– Return home by car with tour guide
