Best time to visit Sapa should be from June – October.
In June: It is very warm in Hanoi and the north, few days in Sapa will be your good choice as it is cool in Sapa and in June, local people will start the new crop, you will see working in the terraced fields with buffaloes, planting rice, corn...
In July and August: The mountains and valley look green with blue sky.
In September and October: Best time to visit Sapa, it is when people harvest the rice, the valley look yellow and people are busy harvesting rice... always nice weather at this time.
In November: Good weather but no more rice in the valley.
In December: It is cold, wet, misty...but not all the time, still ok to visit.
In January – March: Cold, wet, misty, this is not the right time for sightseeing Sapa tours.
In April – May: Warmer, better weather. Ok to visit but not the best time.
