Day 13: Da Lat – Nha Trang Meals: B + Guide Today’s part-cycle covers 170kms on Highway 27B and whilst undulating is mostly downhill towards the coast and Nha Trang. We may see wild elephants as we pass through more minority hamlets on our way to the kilometres of untouched beaches, great climate and islands to explore which have made Nha Trang a popular Vietnamese resort. The accommodation for the next 2 nights is ideally situated right near the main beach in the centre of town. Overnight in Nha Trang.

Upon arrival in Cu Chi, we visit the incredible underground tunnel network of approximately 200 kilometres hand-constructed by Vietnamese guerillas and was the military base of the North Vietnamese Army during the US-Vietnam war. 8h00 pick up at your hotel, we first take the car to Kenh Ga for taking the boat trip to visit the floating village and local life before riding through villages to Tam Coc where can cycle to visit the so called “ Halong Bay on Land’” including Thai Vi Temple, Bich Dong Pagoda or doing another boat trip at Tam Coc. Overnight in Tam Coc.
We will set out early from our hotel on the bikes and ride for approx 30kms. We ride on smaller paved roads away from the main traffic on flat terrain. Passing through rice fields, local markets, a famous covered bridge and seeing various other traditional crafts, makes this is a great introduction to cycling in
Leaving Hoi An mid morning we take the bus to Chau O about 1.5 hrs from Hoi An. It is here we have a picnic lunch. From Chau O, the cycling is a mixture of dirt and paved roads through spectacular countryside and passing by villages where the people who love to say hello and wave at you. We continue to the better known hamlet of
Today we have another excellent cycling day. We enjoy the first 50kms riding along the valley floors before taking in the undulating roads of Highway 27. The scenery along the way is just simply breathtaking. We will arrive into Dalat in late afternoon. Overnight in Da Lat.
Today is a cycle-free day to enjoy the clear blue waters and relaxed ambiance of Nha Trang. We make an excursion by local boat on the harbour exploring nearby islands for a beach sojourn in the shade of coconut palms or snorkelling from the boat. You can also enjoy a relaxing massage, a cooling swim in the pristine waters, a pedicure or cool beer by the sea. A fresh seafood lunch is also available on the boat if you wish. On our return to Nha Trang we can plan to visit a local fishing village. Nha Trang also offers a number of sights of historical or spiritual significance, which can be explored at your leisure in the afternoon after our return. Overnight in Nha Trang.
