Hanoi – Mai Chau – Son La – Dien Bien – Muong Lay – Sapa – Halong – Hue – Hoi An – Quang Ngai – Kon Tum – Buon Me Thuot – Da Lat – Nha Trang – Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi Tunnels No doubt that VIETNAM BIKING TOUR is one of the finest ways to discover Vietnam where hospitality comes as second nature. Our Vietnam Bicycle tour includes comfortable geared cycles, a support crew and backup vehicle, and nights spent in simply appointed hotels where the local cuisine will be sure to delight. Pedaling at a steady pace we explore an ever-changing landscape of tranquil highlands, palm fringed beaches and country roads that lead through mango and coconut groves. Stopping at wayside tea stalls the villagers' curiosity often translates into invitations to visit their homes.

Day 2: Hanoi – Mai Chau Meals: B, D +Guide
Day 3: Mai Chau – Son La Meals: B +Guide After breakfast, we head to Son La, a stop in Moc Chau with hundreds of giant grass farm for cows, You will know why this is the biggest milk centre in Vietnam, continue to Son La and enjoy the view of the Northern mountains, arrive in Son La at noon, check in hotel before visit “Son La prison" in the French war. Walk around the town and overnight in Son La. Overnight at Train Union Hotel.
Day 4: Son La – Dien Bien Phu Meals: B +Guide
Day 5: Dien Bien Phu – Muong Lay Meals: B +Guide Morning visit of the museum and sites of Dien Bien Phu. Head to Muong Lay, visit a village of the Black Dao People, if lucky, you will see an art of hair make-up of the old ladies on the way. Tonight, we stay in Muong Lay, a very lovely town by “Black River”. Overnight Lan Anh Hotel.
Day 6: Muong Lay – Sapa Meals: B +Guide
Day 7: Lao Chai – Tavan Meals: B +Guide After Breakfast, we ride to visit Muong Hoa valley. The road is with amazing view over the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, many ethnic villages and beautiful terraced rice fields. Back to Sapa for the second night.
Day 8: Sapa – Lao cai & Train to Hanoi Meals: B +Guide Free day at leisure until we transfer you to train station in Lao Cai for the overnight train to

Day 10: Ha Long Cruise – Meals: B + Guide Get up early to catch the sunrise on the bay and relax with a cup of hot coffee or tea. We depart for a visit to the splendid Sung Sot grotto and a quick glimpse of a nearby fishing village. Enjoy nice brunch while cruising back through Halong bay to the pier. Transfer to

further, we can ride along the relatively new coast road the runs parallel to the beach and into Hoi An township. In the evening we will take a short walking tour through the old streets of Hoi An. The streets are charming at night with lanterns hanging from shop fronts and café patrons spilling onto the streets. Amongst other things, Hoi An is famous for a particular noodle dish (Cao Lau) which we endeavour to sample during our time here.
Day 13: Hoi An Meals: B + Guide is available at your request Hoi An Ancient Town - highlight of any tour to Vietnam- is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. Its buildings and its street plan reflect the influences, both indigenous and foreign, that have combined to produce this unique heritage site. Day free to cycle through rice paddies in the countryside of Hoi An ancient town, shop for souvenirs among the antique shops and art galleries, or just sit at sidewalk cafes and soak up the atmosphere of this quaint town. Or relax on the white sandy beach of the famous China Beach. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 14: Hoi An – Quang Ngai Meals: B Leaving Hoi An mid morning we take the bus to Chau O about 1.5 hrs from Hoi An. It is here we have a picnic lunch. From Chau O, the cycling is a mixture of dirt and paved roads through spectacular countryside and passing by villages where the people who love to say hello and wave at you. Day 15: Quang Ngai – Kon Tum Meals: B + Guide Today is a more challenging day as we leave Highway 1 and head inland towards Quang
Day 16: Kon Tum – Buon Me Thuot Meals: B + Guide T
Day 17: Buon Me Thuot – Dalat Meals: B + Guide Today we have another excellent cycling day. We enjoy the first 50kms riding along the valley floors before taking in the undulating roads of Highway 27. The scenery along the way is just simply breathtaking. We will arrive into Dalat in late afternoon. Overnight in Da Lat.
Day 18: Cycle around Dalat Meals: B + Guide Today we explore the fresh central highlands of Dalat by bike and enjoy its strong French feel. A visit inland to this lovely hill side town will be much appreciated for the cool climates that provide a welcome break from the usual humidity of
Day 19: Da Lat – Nha Trang Meals: B + Guide Today’s part-cycle covers 170kms on Highway 27B and whilst undulating is mostly downhill towards the coast and Nha Trang. We may see wild elephants as we pass through more minority hamlets on our way to the kilometres of untouched beaches, great climate and islands to explore which have made Nha Trang a popular Vietnamese resort. The accommodation for the next 2 nights is ideally situated right near the main beach in the centre of town. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 20: Nha Trang Meals: B + Guide

Day 22: Cu Chi Tunnels Meals: B, D + Guide Morning pick up from the hotel for Cu Chi tour, en route to visit the bustling market at Thu Dao Mot. Upon arrival in Cu Chi, we visit the incredible underground tunnel network of approximately 200 kilometres hand-constructed by Vietnamese guerillas and was the military base of the North Vietnamese Army during the US-Vietnam war. Afternoon leave Cu Chi to Ho Chi Minh for farewell dinner. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

8h00 pick up at your hotel, we first take the car out of the city before riding our own way with bikes through villages, valleys of Hoa Binh province. Lunch break in Hoa Binh town, Visit Hoa Binh Hydro power, the biggest one in Vietnam, then continue the road up hills to Kun pass that offering spectacular views over the valleys and mountains. Arrive in Lac village of the Thai people in Mai Chau. Check in a stilt house then take a short walk around. After dinner, join the traditional dance and music show of the White Thai people, taste Ruou Can - the special wine of the local made from rice and a kind of tree leaves. Overnight in Thai’s house on stilts.
Ride to DBP. Visit very primitive village of the Black Thai village on the way that you can see the very basic conditions of life. Continue to biggest daily hilltribe market in Thuan Chau, see different ethnic groups, local fruits, food, but it will be much more beautiful experience when reaching amazing Pha Din Pass, time for photos. Continue our way to Dien Bien. Overnight in Hotel at Him Lam Hotel.
Ride to Sa Pa, during your way, you will see many different ethnic villages of the Lao, Lu, Black Dao, Tien Dao, Day, Red H’mong before driving up to the highest pass in Vietnam - Hoang Lien Son. Stop over at “Heaven Gate” for a wonderful view down to amazing valley and Fanxipang - the highest mount in Vietnam (Roof of Vietnam). You also visit “Silver Waterfall” - the nicest one in the area before getting to your hotel in Sapa. Overnight in Sapa.

Today is a cycle-free day to enjoy the clear blue waters and relaxed ambiance of Nha Trang. We make an excursion by local boat on the harbour exploring nearby islands for a beach sojourn in the shade of coconut palms or snorkelling from the boat. You can also enjoy a relaxing massage, a cooling swim in the pristine waters, a pedicure or cool beer by the sea. A fresh seafood lunch is also available on the boat if you wish. On our return to Nha Trang we can plan to visit a local fishing village. Nha Trang also offers a number of sights of historical or spiritual significance, which can be explored at your leisure in the afternoon after our return. Overnight in Nha Trang.
