ITINERARY

Day 1. Arrive in Hanoi (G)

Upon arrival, our private Vietnam Tours guide and driver will welcome your Vietnam Holiday, pick up and transfer to the hotel for check in. Hanoi, a city where the exotic chic of old Asia blends with the dynamic face of new Asia. Where the medieval and modern co-exist. A city with a blend of Parisian grace and Asian pace, an architectural museum piece evolving in harmony with its history, rather than bulldozing through like many of the region’s capitals. Hanoi is where imagination becomes reality. Free at leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: King Island Golf (B) (G)

Morning drive to the King Island Resort, where you can swing your club on this 18-hole course set in a beautiful green valley. Back to Hanoi and free at leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay Cruise (B/L/D) (G)

Halong Cruise must be the most beautiful tour in Vietnam for any visitors to Vietnam. This morning, after breakfast, we drive to Halong Bay (165km), Vietnam most scenic sight, a recognized World Natural Heritage Site and highlight of any Vietnam Tours. Upon arrival, board your traditional wooden junk. Welcome drink on board. After a relaxing break, enjoy a delicious seafood lunch while cruising through the wonderful Ha Long bay visiting its amazing grottoes and caves. Opportunity to dive off the boat and have a pleasant swimming in the deep blue water of East Sea before relaxing on your sun deck to view a Halong sunset.  Dinner on board with excellent fresh seafood. Overnight on board.

Day 4: Halong Bay Cruise – Hanoi – Ho Chi Minh (B) (G)

It is said that your Vietnam Tours will not be complete without a trip to Halong Bay and spending one night on romantic Halong Cruise. People describe Halong Bay as majestic and mysterious, inspiring and imperious and words alone cannot do justice to the natural wonder that is Halong Bay. Imagine 3000 or more incredible islands rising from the emerald waters of the Gulf of Tonkin and you have a vision of breathtaking beauty. Halong Bay is pure art, a priceless collection of unfinished sculptures hewn from the hand of nature. It is absolutely true when you get up early to catch the sunrise on the bay, doing Ta Chi on sundeck and relax with a cup of hot coffee or tea when the boat cruising to explore more of Halong Bay. All make your Vietnam Holiday with full sweet memory. Back to Halong city at around noon where Vivutravel's private guide and driver are waiting for the transfer back to Hanoi Airport for afternoon flight to Ho Chi Minh. Pick up on arrival and overnight in HCMC.

Day 5: Song Be Golf Course (B) (G)

Today we play a round of golf at the Song Be Golf Course, widely regarded as one of the most challenging in the country. The 100-hectare golf resort was built out of the natural landscape of fruit orchard and coconut palms and features at least 10 lakes with tree-lined fairways. The remainder of the day is free to explore Vietnam's most vibrant city. Overnight in HCMC.

Day 6: Ho Chi Minh City – Da Lat (B) (G)

This morning you are free at leisure. In the afternoon, our Vietnam tour guide and driver in HCMC will transfer you to the airport for the short flight to Dalat - the 'City of Eternal Spring' of Dalat. Pick up on arrival and transfer to your hotel, free at leisure. Overnight in Da Lat.

Day 7: Da Lat (B) (G)

We start the day by playing a round of golf at the superb Dalat Palace Golf Club. The course gently blends into the rolling hills of Dalat and overlooks Xuan Huong Lake, and the fairways weave through the oversized pine trees. Overnight in Dalat

Day 8: Dalat – Phan Thiet (B) (G)

This morning, we take a private car transfer to Phan Thiet (5 hours). Once a part of the Cham Kingdom, it’s now a perfect stop for Vietnam beach holidays and to end your Vietnam Holiday, an unremarkable town with a reasonable beach, some decent hotels, and a very good golf course. In a nice setting with white sand beaches and coconut trees, the beach resort of Phan Thiet is also endowed with amazing spots such as sand dunes, natural lakes and astonishing red canyons.  Phan Thiet still has sizeable populations of Cham and Raglai ethnic minority groups. The former are a part of the area’s Cham heritage. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel, free time at leisure. In the afternoon, we play 18 holes on the exquisite Ocean Dunes Resort Golf Course. Nick Faldo designed this links course. It is an outstanding natural site with sand dunes, sea breezes and fantastic sea views. Overnight in Phan Thiet.

Day 9 & 10: Phan Thiet (B)

Days are free at leisure for you to write about your Vietnam Tours experience or to explore the area including the fishing village of Mui Ne which locates at the far end of the beach, the village and several hectares of massive rolling sand dunes make a pleasant diversion from relaxing on the beach, swimming and windsurfing. The village is worth a visit for three reasons – firstly, very few tourists go further than the dunes, secondly, the small harbour is picturesque (there’s an excellent view from where the dunes road turns off) and thirdly, there’s an interesting pagoda where followers of Vietnam’s whale cult hold services and store skeletons of the massive sea mammals.

Overnight Phan Thiet

Day 11: Phan Thiet – Ho Chi Minh City (B)

Free until we transfer you back to Ho Chi Minh. Check in and free at leisure. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City

Free time at leisure for you to wrap up your memorial Vietnam Honeymoon until Vivutravel's private guide will see you off at the airport with the sincere thanks for traveling with Vivutravel.
