Phong Nha - a worth national park to visit when traveling in Indochina

Phong Nha-Ke Bang has been listed among top seven national parks that tourists should visit while traveling in Southeast Asia.

Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park is located in Quang Binh province covering an area if 85,754 hectares and it was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2003. According to scientists, the landscape of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National is formed by tropical forests and limestone plateau with great geological diversity, spectacular phenomena including a large number of caves and underground rivers. Besides that, the park has a high level of biodiversity and many endemic species.

In the recent years, Phong Nha-Ke Bang has become very famous thanks to its cave system consisting of more than 300 caves and grottos that are discovered by domestic and international. All those caves are so beautiful, spectacular and marvelous, in which, Son Doong, discovered in 2009 is known as the world's largest cave and attracts attention of people from all over the world. However, you need prepare many elements, especially, health factor if you are planning to visit that cave as it will be a real expedition tour.
