Not far from Hoi An Ancient Town, Bho Hoong Village, located at Song Kon commune, Dong Giang District, Quang Nam province, is a beautiful ethnic village to visit. It is just around 80Km from Hoi An city that lies back to the mountain. The village belongs to Co Tu people who still preserve a lot of ancient traditions, customs and unique cultures until now. Especially, you have chance to experience Bho Hoong Bungalows that are combined from architectural features of Co Tu ethnic group and modern buildings. Unlike many other ethnic tourism sites in Vietnam, you will get real experience of ethnic minority while traveling to that village.
Bho Hoong village with five stilted bungalows are all decorated with features reflecting sacred animals or cultural images of Co Tu people. From the village, you can do some trekking to nearby areas to discover unique lifestyles of local people or you can try motorbike tours that can take you further to untouched areas. While visiting to those villages, you have chance to swim in pristine river or walk around with a fantastic local Co Tu tour guide through the jungle.
