There is one place in Vietnam where you can buy luck, actually, according to Vietnamese belief, named Vieng Market. It is held in Nam Truc & Vu Ban Districts, in Nam Dinh province, once in a year on the 8th day of the first lunar month and you can really buy the luck and sell the misfortune. Vietnamese people believe that they can get lucky if they buy something from the market on that day. There are a lot of things selling at the market produced by the local farmers like ornamental plants, specialty crops, subtle craft articles, utensils, bronze and iron-made tools, antiquities and false antiquities, etc. According to locals, flowers and trees are the cheapest products at Vieng market which bring happiness and luck to both the seller and buyer.
Exactly, the market is most interesting and spiritual on the night of 07th & early 08th when is considered the moment of positive and negative exchange as well as heavenly and earthly exchange. As a result, Vietnamese believes that men and gods could really reach together at that time, meaning all prayers could be perceived more clearly.
Every year, there are about ten thousands of people coming to the market for getting the luck for the whole year as well as praying for a year full of good fortune, favorable nature, rich crops and happy family.
