American magazine praises Vietnamese cuisine as 'quintessence'

Travel + Leisure suggests that if international guests want to experience food, Vietnam is the first destination to visit in 2023.

Experts from the American travel magazine have suggested the top Asian destinations to visit in 2023. For food lovers, Vietnam is the first place to go with the comment "is The place with the best cuisine."

Travel + Leisure reviews Vietnamese cuisine with a Japanese word, umami (the quintessence of good taste). The recommended dishes that visitors should try are pho, bread, and banh cuon.

"This country is not only beautiful, but also has a rich cuisine. Wherever you go, you will encounter local delicacies, places that will captivate you. You will be immersed in new experiences, interesting and to beautiful places," wrote the American magazine.

The destinations should stop are Hanoi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City. The best time is from November to March. Travel experts also praise the easy access to Vietnam thanks to many flight routes.

In addition, in this poll, Singapore is rated as the best city to visit; Indonesia and Goa are the destinations with the best beaches; Saadiyat island in Abu Dhabi is the best place for a wedding; Bangkok is a shopping paradise; Maldives is the most romantic spot and Japan has the best culture.
