Cam Ranh International Airport is Vietnam’s fourth largest airport, handling domestic and international flights to Nha Trang. It’s the fourth busiest airport in Vietnam and located 30km south of Nha Trang City.
Domestic flights arriving in Nha Trang are from Vietnam’s major cities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang via Jetstar Pacific Airlines, Vietnam Airlines, and VietJet Air. There are also a limited number of international flights to Nha Trang including Russia’s Nordwind Airlines and Azur Air, China’s Sichuan Airlines and China Southern Airlines, as well as South Korea’s Asiana Airlines and Korean Air.
Getting around Cam Ranh Airport
Similar to most airports in Vietnam, Nha Trang’s main airport is rather compact and easy to navigate. The first floor hosts flight ticket counters, ATM machines, currency exchange counters, food court, and souvenir shops while the waiting, departure and arrival halls are located on the second. Do note that dining options in Cam Ranh International Airport are rather limited so we highly recommend having your meal before making your way here or during your flight.
Getting to and from Cam Ranh Airport
To get to Nha Trang from Cam Ranh International Airport, visitors can either travel by taxis or airport buses. Chartering you to the centre of Nha Trang city is the Cam Ranh – Nha Trang bus services. A one-way ticket is priced between VND 30,000 and VND 40,000 VND, which can be purchased inside the arrival hall.
While travelling by taxi is pricier compared to bus, the former features comfortable seats and English-speaking drivers. Travellers can either purchase a ticket for VND 40,000 for a shuttle to the old Nha Trang city airport (where they can take a metered taxi to their destination) or purchase a taxi voucher for about VND 290,000 that directly charters them to their intended destination.
