Quang Binh offers so many great destinations with various activities that should not be missed in any Vietnam tour. The fastest way to reach there is by plane. Vietnam Airlines have flights that travel the route of Hanoi – Dong Hoi – Ho Chi Minh City three times a week (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays).

Travellers who have more time to spare are suggested to take the bus as this enables visitors to see more of the stunning landscape. From Hue, local buses take about 3-4 hours, departing from the Northern Bus Station. Most buses will drop you off on Hung Vung, which is closer to town than the bus station. You can easily walk to a hotel from Hung Vung.

Travelling by train also allows tourists to enjoy the view. The Reunification Express makes a stop in Dong Hoi. The train station is 3km from the city centre.

Meanwhile, taxis and motorbikes are the best means of transportation when getting around town.
