• The must see - temple must be Angkor Wat which was built in 12th century in 162.6 hectares. Like the pyramid in Egypt, people are still wondering why and how it was built. It is difficult for words to describe this monument so please come to see with your eyes and surprise will be your first word.
• Angkor Thom built by the end of the 12th century and considered as great city covering an area of 9 km² with many majestic temples such as Bayon, Terrace of the Elephants, Terrace of the Leper King, Phimeanakas, Baphuon, Prah Palilay, Prasat Suor Prat and Tep Pranam. To visit Angkor Thom, you will need at least 2 days. Short walking tour, cycling tour are easy to book from a local tour operator in Siem Reap, but do not forget to try elephant ride around Bayon temple which is a memorable experience for family with kids.
2 - When you are in Siem Reap, take tuktuk ride to visit the old market to buy unique souvenirs from Cambodia or taste delicious at the night market where you will find many open restaurants, bars and cheap foot massage.
