Day 1: Luang Prabang arrival (+ Guide)
The first stop of your Indochina holiday, Luang Prabang is an outstanding example of the fusion of traditional architecture and Lao urban structures with those built by the European colonial authorities in the 19th and 20th centuries. Its unique, remarkably well-preserved townscape illustrates a key stage in the blending of these two distinct cultural traditions. Day 2: Luang Prabang tour (Meals included: Breakfast) (+ Guide)
Today we will visit the ancient city found on the left bank of the Mekong River. Previously a religious capital, Luang Prabang showcases more than 100 temples, considered amongst the most beautiful in Laos. In particular, you will discover:

Vat Xieng Thong or Temple of the Royal City - a vast collection of sacred buildings and the most beautiful temple in the city.

Vat May - built at the end of the 18th century, a capped sanctuary featuring a five sided roof surmounted by three parasols.

Vat Visoun - the oldest temple in the city with its wooden windows inspired by the Khmer Temple of Vat Phou.

Vat Aham - located just beside Vat Visoun, framed by two large Banyan trees.

Vat Senna - the first monastery whose roof was to be covered with yellow and red tiles.

At the end of the afternoon, discover the H’mong Night Market on your way back to your hotel. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Cave – Khuang Si Waterfall – Luang Prabang (Breakfast) (+ Guide)
Today we'll spend a few hours travelling down the Mekong River on a long­tailed boat. We will visit the mysterious Pak Ou Caves inside the limestone cliff opposite the mouth of the Mekong and Nam Ou Rivers. We'll visit the village of Ban Xanghai, best known for its production of the traditional delicious rice of this country. Stop for lunch (at your own expense) at a local restaurant on the bank of the Mekong River. Upon our return to Luang Prabang we'll visit Ban Xangkhong, a village known for its paper making and for its naturally dyed silk weavings.

In the afternoon, we drive through a beautiful road to visit Khuang Sy.  

Khuang Sy is located in a fauna and flora conversation area of Laos, surrounded by lush jungle with many large and small falls. The roaring stream flows down from above, making spectacular scenery of brilliant rainbow among the sparkling sunshine. The waterfall is famous not only thanks to the turquoise water but also its layer shape of terraces alike.

Day 4: Luang Prabang – Flight to Hanoi (Breakfast) (+ Guide)
Free at leisure until we transfer you to the airport for your departure flight to Hanoi. Day 5: Hanoi City Tour (Breakfast) (+ Guide)
Hanoi without a doubt is a beautiful stop for your Vietnam Travel. Today, we enjoy a full day city tour of this charming capital city including the mausoleum of the nation's founder Ho Chi Minh (close on Monday & Friday), the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, the impressive Ethnologic Museum (or Museum of Fine Arts, Army Museum, History Museum, Woman Museum, Hoa Lo Prison), the beautiful West Lake, the Tran Vu Pagoda, the peaceful lake of the Restored Sword. Late afternoon we take a cyclo tour for a short excursion through the bustling old quarter streets named after the specific goods once offered for sale at these places. Enjoy a glass of "Bia Hoi - draught beer - included" at Ta Hien Street before we enjoy a fantastic traditional water puppet show. Overnight in a Hanoi hotel.

Day 6: Hanoi – Halong Bay Cruise (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) (+ Guide)
Pick up from the train station, this morning, we have already arranged a room in a mini hotel for you to have shower and breakfast. We start at 8.00 A.M for the 3 hour drive (170 km) through the Red River Delta, which offers plenty of chances for taking photos of Vietnamese farmers tilling the vast green paddy fields. At half way, we'll have a visit to a handicraft workshop with fine clothes, embroidered paintings, stone statuettes and all kinds of gems mined in Vietnam such as star rubies or sapphires... Our destination is the World Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay. The bay offers some 3000 mountain islands and islets towering in the Gulf of Tonkin in the East Vietnam Sea.

12:30 – 13:00    Embark on Calypso Cruiser followed by cruise briefing.
13:00 – 15:30    Savor a delectable lunch as Calypso Cruiser cruises further along the limestone islands of Bai Tu Long Bay.
15:30 – 16:30    You are free to choose one of the below options:

Option 1: Fishing village visit
Those are interested in local daily life: Take a bamboo rowing boat trip (around 45 minutes) around Vung Vieng fishing village – one of the largest fishing villages in Halong Bay to see the life of local fishermen. The village is set in closed lagoon, surrounded by mountains, excellent settings for some good photos.

Option 2: Beach and kayaking
For those who like some water activities and beach. The tender shall take you to Ban Chan beach, where you can enjoy yourself on the beach, swimming or playing volleyball…, or try your hands in some kayaking in the magnificent setting for Halong Bay.

16:30 – 17:30    Return to Calypso Cruiser and have bath then relax as the sun starts to set.
17:30 – 19:00    Enjoy the Happy Hour at the bar and on the sun deck and take part in our cooking class with Calypso Cruiser Chef
19:00    Dinner is served. Socialize with other guests, night squid fishing or just laze around. Singing and dancing activities are available till 22h00. Overnight on board at Cong Do Area

Day 7: Ha Long Bay–Hanoi – Flight to Hue (Breakfast, Brunch) (+ Guide)
06:30 – 07:00    Start your day with Tai Chi exercise on the sundeck.
07:00 – 09:00    Catch morning view of seascapes with a cup of tea or coffee, have breakfast while cruising toward Thien Canh Son Cave
09:00 – 09:30    Visit Thien Canh Son Cave – the medium size and less visited cave in Bai Tu Long Bay
09:30 – 10:00    Check-out room. Luggage can be delivered to the reception area.
10:00 – 11:00    Head back to the Harbor. Have early lunch on board. Disembark Calypso Cruiser at around 12h00.

Then get on van and transfer back to Hanoi airport for flight to Hue.

Upon your arrival at Hue airport, pick up and transfer to hotel for check-in.

Day 8: Hue City Tour (Breakfast) (+ Guide)
Hue is one of places, which has many cultural heritages. Up to now, there is no place like Hue remaining a lot of originally historical vestiges as in this ancient Capital City and favorite destination for all Vietnam Tours. After breakfast, our tour starts with the visit to Imperial Citadel before taking the beautiful boat trip on the romantic Perfume River and visit Hue's best-known religious site-Thien Mu Pagoda and the Mausoleum of former emperor Minh Mang in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes. Day 9: Hue – Hoi An (Breakfast) (+ Guide)
After breakfast, we drive to Hoi An, a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries whose architecture and relaxed lifestyle has changed little over the years and for sure, Hoi An is a wonderful destination and choice for all kinds of Indochina tours This scenic drive passes through the fishing village of Lang Co before climbing over the Pass of Ocean Clouds. Along the way, stop in Danang to visit the Cham Museum which contains the finest collection of Cham sculptures in the world. Upon arrival in Hoi An, free to take walking tour of the Hoi An ancient town centre. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 10: Hoi An farming & fishing tour (Breakfast, Lunch) (+ Guide)
Spend a day leisurely cycling though the scenic countryside of Vietnam, far from the traffic the motor scooters, and the noises the city. You will cross the islands on the Song Thu river delta using local transportation, including ferries and floating bridges...
 
This tour will take you on a visit to artisans making bricks according to age-old. You will discover how wooden river boats are made and learn the secret of weaving the colorful straw Hoi An sleeping mats. Try the renowned Vietnamese basket boats. You will spend the day with first-hand contact with one of the rural inhabitant of the region, far from the usual tourist circuits. At lunchtime you will be invited into a local home for a traditional Vietnamese meal, and learn their customs and traditions. After you have relaxed for a while under the shade of a mango tree, you will begin your return towards Hoi An, which will take about an hour. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 12: Hoi An – Danang – Flight to Ho Chi Minh (Breakfast) (+ Guide)
After breakfast, our Vietnam tour guide and driver in Hoi An will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh city. Arrive at Tan Son Nhat airport, welcome by our private Vietnam tour guide and driver and transfer to you hotel for check in. Ho Chi Minh, the most exciting city of Vietnam, a mecca of commerce, also a city with a chequered history and a rich culture, its pagodas, museums, public buildings, parks and boulevards make it one of the most delightful Vietnam Tours and cities to visit in Vietnam. Day 13: Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi Tunnels – Ho Chi Minh (Breakfast) (+ Guide)
An extremely complex tunnel system, the Cu Chi network covers a wide area of countryside near to Ho Chi Minh city and was an excellent way for the Viet Kong to move undetected by American forces underground. This evocative day tour explores the struggle of everyday life during the Vietnam War from a local perspective and takes you deep underground to explore the tunnels.

The Cu Chi tour starts with an introductory video detailing its long 25-year construction. Then it is time to go underground in the infamous 120-mile Cu Chi tunnel system which offered a safe haven for soldiers and thousands of Vietnamese people during the Vietnam War. It is virtually an underground city with dwelling houses, schools, hospitals and factories.

On display are booby traps, the remains of a US army tank and huge craters left by American B52 bombs. You will be able to admire lots of compelling photos and personal effects left behind.

There is also the chance to play real war games firing an authentic AK rifle used during the war.

Day 14: Ho Chi Minh – Cai Be floating market – Can Tho (Breakfast, Lunch) (+ Guide)
Today we will start our exploration of the Mekong Delta, a major rice producing area. This must be one of the most fascinating riverine deltas in the world. The Mekong splits into nine major arteries. A vast network of rivers and waterways with thousands of ships of all sizes plowing the waters gives the Mekong Delta a very special atmosphere and no double one of the most favorite destinations for Indochina toursOn arrival,we will make a boat trip to the Cai Be floating Market, visit villages and meet the people of the Mekong Delta. Continue your boat trip to An Binh Island for Lunch in a local family and bike trip in the afternoon. Continue to Can Tho – the heart of Mekong Delta in Vietnam. In the morning, we make the boat cruise to see the Cai Rang floating market (the nicest one with heaps of rowing boats), truly highlights of any Indochina tours where you will enjoy the beautiful scenery and see the daily activities of the locals who live along the Mekong canals and later, you will roam through the village to visit a rice husking mill, a rice noodles making shop which are nice chances to discover the daily life of Vietnamese people in Mekong Delta.
