Day 01

Ho Chi Minh City Tour (Bearkfast, Lunch )

Today we will start a Ho Chi Minh City tour visiting the Thien Hau Temple, followed by the lively Binh Tay Market. As one of the spotlights for any Vietnam tours, Ho Chi Minh City lures worldwide Vietnam tour makers with its passion and magic. Have lunch in a local restaurant.

After lunch, visit the War Remnants or History Museum and the former Presidential Palace. From there, the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat), Continental Hotel, Opera House and City Hall are all within walking distance and absolutely nice choices for a free stroll. Day 02

Ho Chi Minh - Can Gio eco tour ( Breakfast, Lunch)

7h30AM: we pick you up at your hotel start to Can Gio, cross the Nha Be River on the Binh Khanh Ferry. About 50 km southeast of Ho Chi Minh City, the Can Gio Forest was recognized as the first mangrove biosphere reserve in Vietnam by UNESCO in 2000. Covering an area of 75,740 ha, this area is a lively world of diverse flora and fauna which has inspired biologists and nature lovers alike.

Visiting Can Gio Museum. The exhibits show the biodiversity of the mangrove forest and introduce the heroes who fought for independence and their battles.

Visiting Mangrove Forest Park Fauna Conservation: saltwater crocodiles, wild cats, otters, pythons, deer, and more than 1000 wild monkeys, which love to play with people. On Saturday, Sunday we can see the performance of monkey.

Then taking the motorized boat for visiting the mangrove Sac forest, the formal revolutionary base of the guerrillas in VN war.

Having lunch at the restaurant. Taking a boat or canoe to visit the Vam Sat Salt-Marsh Forest Ecological Tourist Zone which contains most beautiful forests of Can Gio which is one of the world's Salt-Marsh biosphere preserve. Historically, this land had been damaged by toxic chemicals that turned the zone into an uninhabited land. Thanks to the hard work of people, the forest has gradually recovered, and its beauty and magnificence feature have been returned.

Winning over the Tang Bong tower with 25m height to have an overview of all the landscapes of Can Gio mangrove forest.

Day 03

Ho Chi Minh - Mekong Delta ( Breakfast, Lunch)

Today we will start our exploration of the Mekong Delta, a major rice producing area. This must be one of the most fascinating riverine deltas in the world. The Mekong splits into nine major arteries. A vast network of rivers and waterways with thousands of ships of all sizes plowing the waters gives the Mekong Delta a very special atmosphere and no double one of the most favorite destinations for Vietnam Tours.

On arrival, we will make a boat trip to the Cai Be floating Market, visit villages and meet the people of the Mekong Delta. Continue your boat trip to An Binh Island for Lunch in a local family and bike trip in the afternoon. Continue to Can Tho – the heart of Mekong Delta in Vietnam. Check in on your arrival, free at leisure and overnight in Can Tho

Day 04

Can Tho – Chau Doc (Bearkfast, Lunch )

Want to explore Mekong in depth and see a real Vietnam during your Vietnam family holiday? Chau Doc will be the next stop. Depart early, ideally at around 6.00pm, to travel by boat to the fruit gardens in Can Tho and the floating market at Cai Rang. Then drive to Sa Dec, a romantic and charming little Mekong town, for a walk through the lively and authentic local market before a visit to the house of ‘The Lover’ of the famous love story written by French novelist Marguerite Duras. The family house of ‘The Lover’ in this apparently autobiographical novel has been lovingly and faithfully restored and you will lunch here. After lunch, drive from Sa Dec to Chau Doc, arriving at Chau Doc at around 5.00pm.

Day 05

Chau Doc – Phnom Penh (Bearkfast )

After breakfast, we take the speed boat to Phnom Penh where you will be greeted by your professional friendly English Speaking Tour guide on your arrival at boat pier from Chau Doc and transfer for Lunch.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda. This amazing place, which floor is covered with 5000 silver plates, houses the Preah Keo or emerald Buddha, made of Baccarat crystal. In front stands a 90 kg golden Buddha studded with 9584 diamonds. After this, we will visit the National Museum where present a collection of Khmer art, mostly sculptures.

Day 06

Phnom Penh – Flight to Siem Reap (Bearkfast, Lunch )

After breakfast, we will drive to the Choeng Ek killing fields and the Tuol Sleng genocide Museum - a mass gravesite and a former high school converted to a detention and torture centre by the Khmers Rouges when they came to power in 1975. Afternoon transfer to airport for flight to Siem Reap. Pick up and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 07

Siem Reap – Angkor Thom – Angkor Wat (Bearkfast, Lunch )

Today breakfast, then we will visit Angkor Thom beginning with the portal South Gate. Angkor Thom is located in the middle of Angkor. We also visit Bayon, Baphoun, elephant terrace and the Terrace of leper king, then visit Ta Prohm, the Jungle Temple. Afternoon we will discovered the beautiful temple of Angkor Wat, classified as World Heritage by UNESCO, with its soaring towers and its extraordinary bas-reliefs. It is one of the most extraordinary monuments ever conceived by the human spirit, built in the 12th century in honour of Vishnu. Angkor Wat, formed a rectangle of 1500 metres by 1300, covers an area of almost 200 hectares to include the supervision of watersheds ditches 190 metres wide. Within these, the wall encloses an area of 1025 meters on 800, or 82 hectares is the largest monumental Group of Angkor.
Day 08

Siem Reap – Banteay Srei (Bearkfast, Lunch )

This morning after breakfast, we drive through the countryside to reach the magnificent Banteay Srei temple–the Citadel of women. This Hindu temple, dating back to the 10th century, has three central towers each decorated with superbly intricate carvings and reliefs of male and female divinities, Then on the way back we stop to visit the Cambodian Landmine museum and Rehabilitation Centre to get some more experiences about the past time in Cambodia during the civil war. Afternoon we going to explore the Grand circuit as Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Ta som and Mebon temples. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 09

Siem Reap – Tonle Sap Lake – Flight to Hanoi (Bearkfast )

This morning after breakfast at the hotel, we will enjoy Tonle Sap Lake, Asia’s largest inland lake also the biggest harvest fresh water fish in the world, which swells to ten times its normal size during the wet season; here we have a two-hours boat trip observing how local people go about their daily lives in the floating village, during the boat trip we stop to visit a bird garden and a fishing farm, and also see floating school and a local market will also prove a rewarding experience for today.

PM : we will have time to go shopping arround the Old Market in the French quater area. Old Market has handicrafts local made, palm sugars as well as many other things from Cambodian products. Then transfer you to Siem Reap International Airport for departure flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, our private Vietnam Tour guide and driver will welcome your Vietnam family holiday, pick up and transfer to the hotel for check in. Day 10

Hanoi City Tour (Bearkfast, Lunch, Dinner )

Hanoi is one of the most interesting cities to visit during your Vietnam family holiday and today we spend a full day exploring the charming Hanoi City. The first stop is Ho Chi Minh Complex containing the mausoleum of the nation's founder Ho Chi Minh (closed in Monday & Friday), the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts. Close to this complex is the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of city. We continue our visit to the Temple of Literture, then first university of Vietnam and end this morning city tour with a visit to the Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh Temple, which are some major highlights set by the beautiful West Lake.

Have lunch at a local restaurant

After that we visit the Museum of Ethnology (you can change to visit Museum of History, Museum of Military, Museum of Fine Arts, Museum of Women or Hilton Prison) then drive back to the town center to tale a walk along narrow streets of the diverse Ancient Quarter, the characterized by numerous narrow streets, which date from the 15th century, each one bears a name that reflects the business once conducted there. Examples of which are Silk Street, Rice Street, Paper Street, Jeweler’s Street and so on. This area now houses a variety of different other shops. Sit down and enjoy a glass of draught beer at the corner of Ta Hien street.

We will stop at the beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake. In front of this lake is the famous water puppet show at theatre where we will see a fantastic performance.

Day 11

Hanoi - drive to Sapa ( Breakfast, Lunch)

08:30 Pick up at your hotel and take a smooth drive on new national highway to Sapa, passing beautiful sceneries on both sides of the road including countryside areas, rice fields and mountains. 14:30 Arrive at your hotel in Sapa, check-in your hotel and take a short rest. 16:00 Take a glimpse of Sapa town and you will have chance to see Sapa Stone Church and old streets. Have dinner at a local restaurant (on your own) and overnight in Sapa
Day 12

Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai Village – Sapa (Bearkfast )

Sapa is the dream Vietnam holiday destination for many people even the Vietnamese. There are 5 different ethnic groups in Sapa including the Tay, Day, Xa Pho, H'Mong, Red Dao to live together that make Sapa tour a great place to explore. Again, Fansipan is the highest peak of Vietnam – a life trip for adventurers, the villages by the side of Hoang Lien mountain range create picturesque sceneries, and terrace rice fields and valleys on its foot considered as the world's most beautiful heritage.

Today, we drive to Lao Chai village of the H'Mong minority and start to walk down the amazing Muong Hoa valley to experience their life and take wonderful photos. During the trip, you can visit some of the local family on the way, learn how to plant rice, how to make rice wine, how to make cloth, how is their wedding or funeral tradition.... Continue to Ta Van village of the Day people where we stop in a local family to try some tea, have picnic lunch before trekking to Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Dao minority where you are picked you by our private vehicle back to Sapa. (We can arrange this Sapa tour flexibly for you. Depend on you wish, we will take a long or short trek). Overnight in Sapa.

Day 13

Sapa – Silver Waterfall – Ta Phin Village (Bearkfast )

After breakfast, our Sapa tour drives you to Silver Waterfall – one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Vietnam with more than 100 meters high, white water poured down the stream . The scenery along the way is nice with the pine forest and the 'su su' spreading over the hills. After cooling yourself in the waters and scenery we drive a little bit more to visit the "Heaven Gate" where "earth meets heaven". Time to enjoy beautiful sceneries of the mountains and valleys. Back to Sapa to rest (check out at 12:00). Free time at leisure until we pick you up for the last visit to Ta Phin village of the Red Dao people. Get back to Sapa for overnight.
Day 14

Sapa - market - drive back to Hanoi ( Breakfast, Lunch)

The markets in the Northern Vietnam are always the colorful meeting places for the hill tribes, spotlight for any Sapa Tours and of course, your unique Vietnam Tours experience. Minority people come down from the mountains to sell their products, or just for catching up on the latest news, gossip, drinking away troubles or seeking for lover. In the morning, drive to visit one of the areas weekly markets;

Picked up at the train station and have shower and breakfast at a mini hotel. After 2 hour rest, we drive to Halong Bay (165km), Vietnam most scenic sight, a recognized World Natural Heritage Site and highlight of any Vietnam Tour. Upon arrival, board your traditional wooden junk. Welcome drink on board. After a relaxing break, enjoy a delicious seafood lunch while cruising through the wonderful Ha Long bay visiting its amazing grottoes and caves. Opportunity to dive off the boat and have a pleasant swimming in the deep blue water of East Sea before relaxing on your sun deck to view a Halong sunset. Day 16

Halong Bay Cruise – Hanoi – flight to Hue (Bearkfast )

After breakfast, our tour starts with the visit to Imperial Citadel before taking the beautiful boat trip on the romantic Perfume River and visit Hue's best-known religious site-Thien Mu Pagoda and the Mausoleum of former emperor Minh Mang in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes. Hue – Hoi An (Bearkfast, Lunch )

After breakfast, we drive to Hoi An, a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries whose architecture and relaxed lifestyle has changed little over the years and for sure, Hoi An is the most favorite destination for all kinds of Vietnam Tours. This scenic drive passes through the fishing village of Lang Co before climbing over the Pass of Ocean Clouds. Along the way, stop in Danang to visit the Cham Museum which contains the finest collection of Cham sculptures in the world. Upon arrival in Hoi An, free to take walking tour of the Hoi An ancient town centre. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 19

Hoi An Farming Tour (Bearkfast, Lunch )

This unique Hoi An tour provides you a truly experience about vietnamese daily life, help you to open the vietnamese culture window and understand more about the vietnamese rural culture. Today tour begins with a soft biking around the countryside of Hoian from your hotel with our guide ( 15' - 30' ). The biking takes you to Tra Que Vegetables Village, along the way you will stop and try a water buffalo riding in the middle of the rice paddy and take the photography. Arriving at Tra Que Vegetable Village, you will be welcomed by a farmer family, take the typical farmer's clothe and dress up as a farmer. Then get to the farming land near by with farming tools to practise all the different steps that a vegetable farmer usually does. Done the farming tour and continue on our biking tour along the narrow path to Cam Thanh village, stop at Bay Mau Water Palm forest, you will take a short walk around the small fishing hamlet along the river then board a Coracle - a typical rounded bamboo boat for fishing from local fishermen and enjoy a pleasant cruise along the small canal. Back to the hotel and free at leisure.
Day 20

Hoi An cooking class (Half Day) (Bearkfast, Lunch )

We start the day (8.15am) with a welcome drink at Hai Café

(98 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Hoi An Ancient Town, Tel: 863210) – our meeting point.

Visit Hoi An’s colourful market, and experience the amazing sights, sounds and aromas of this busy market. We will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers and learn about all the ingredients to be used in the cooking lesson later.

We board the Red Bridge boat for a leisurely cruise (25 minutes) along the Hoi An River to the Red Bridge Cooking School. This is a chance to view local river life, so make sure your camera is handy.

On arrival, we explore the cooking school’s herb garden, before learning about some of Hoi An’s and Vietnam’s well-known dishes. The cooking lesson runs for about 2 hours – the Red Bridge chefs first demonstrate each dish before we prepare the same dish ourselves. Included in the class is a brief introduction to Vietnamese food carving (plate decoration). After the lesson, we sit down and eat what we have cooked.

Bring your swimsuit and after the cooking tour has finished relax and enjoy free use of our new 20 metre swimming pool.

Hoian - Danang - fight to Dalat ( Beakfast)

After breakfast, our Vietnam tour guide and driver in Hoi An will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Dalat. Arrival Dalat, our private tour guide and driver in Dalat are ready to welcome you to romantic city. Free at leisure and overnight in Dalat.
Day 22

Dalat - city tour ( Breakfast)

You will visit the former "palace" of the last emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty, Bao Dai. You will also visit the very colorful local market, stacked with fresh fruit, vegetables and flowers, grown in planations around Dalat. Thanks to its temperate climate the mountains around Dalat are ideal for growing vegetables and flowers. One of the main attractions for local tourists is the "Valley of Love", worth a visit just for the peculiar sight of Vietnamese cowboys. Finally, you will make short ride on the last part of the "cremailliere" railway to the village Trai Mat. Overnight in Da Lat

Dalat - drive to Mui Ne ( Breakfast)

After breakfast, we drive to Phan Thiet (Mui Ne), once a part of the Cham Kingdom, it’s now a perfect stop for Vietnam beach holidays and to end your Vietnam family vacation, an unremarkable town with a reasonable beach, some decent hotels, and a very good golf course. In a nice setting with white sand beaches and coconut trees, the beach resort of Phan Thiet is also endowed with amazing spots such as sand dunes, natural lakes and astonishing red canyons. Phan Thiet still has sizeable populations of Cham and Raglai ethnic minority groups. The former are a part of the area’s Cham heritage. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel, free time at leisure. Day is free at leisure for you to write about your Vietnam Tours or to explore the area including the fishing village of Mui Ne which locates at the far end of the beach, the village and several hectares of massive rolling sand dunes make a pleasant diversion from relaxing on the beach, swimming and windsurfing. The village is worth a visit for three reasons – firstly, very few tourists go further than the dunes, secondly, the small harbour is picturesque (there’s an excellent view from where the dunes road turns off) and thirdly, there’s an interesting pagoda where followers of Vietnam’s whale cult hold services and store skeletons of the massive sea mammals. 1. Send us an inquiry by submitting one of our online tour inquiry forms (Click). Tell us as much information as possible. For examples;

- Please tell us how many people will be traveling with you?

- Please tell us your preferred hotels, level of hotel (3, 4 or 5 stars), type of hotel, type of room...

- Please tell us your type of travel, length of travel and activities that you are interested in. For example; Family with kids, Couple's vacation, Honeymoon, Friends, Shopping, Sightseeing, Leisure and Relaxing, Cuisine & Cooking, Kayaking, Caves & Grottoes, Fishing, Swimming, Hiking, Minority, Adventure & Discovery...

- Please tell us where and what you want to visit. If you do not know much about Vietnam and Indochina, just give us your travel plan and ideas and we will create a suggested tour for you.

- Most of our tour guides are English speaking tour guides, but if you want another language like French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Chinese... we can always arrange. Please tell us what you do you expect from your guides, for example; you want a guide with sense of humor? Good knowledge in history & culture? Male/Female guide? Talkative/untalkative? Young/Old guide?

- Please advise if you want breakfast included only or also lunch and dinner. Please let us know if you are a vegetarian, the food you can eat or can't? When you decide to book your Vietnam and Indochina holiday with us, please send us your full names (name on passport) for hotel and domestic flight reservations, and your international flight details in and out Vietnam/Indochina for airport transfers / pick up & see off.

* How to pay the deposit and the balance?
Deposit: When the booking is completely confirmed, we will send you confirmation details including confirmed itinerary, invoice, voucher then deposit request of about 30% of the total tour cost (can be less). You can pay by credit cards (via onepay gateway, pay online), make wire transfer, western union. The deposit is used to pay the flight tickets, hotels, train tickets in advance.

Balance: You can pay the rest 2 weeks before your arrival, or you can pay us on your arrival in Vietnam by credit cards, cash (AUD, USD, EUROS, VND...)

* How to enjoy the tour?
Our job is to make your holiday a memorable experience. To make sure you will have a great time, there are something that we should share;

When you request the tour: Please let us know your personal interests so our travel consultants will design and include in the itinerary, or take notes for the hotels, tour guide, restaurants...

Before you come: One week before your arrival. we always send our clients an email to update about the weather and climate, booking status, and remind you to prepare/check the documents, visa...for the holiday.

When on tour: The tour is fixed, but you can always discuss with us if you want to make it more flexible. For example, you want to make some changes in the itinerary, restaurant (meals), tour guide... please just let us know, we will do the best for you.

Tour guide: Please let us know what do you expect from your tour guides and we will arrange the right ones for you.

* Can you buy the international flight tickets for us?
Yes, we do. However, we advise you to buy the flight tickets in and out Vietnam from your end as it is always cheaper than if booked in here.

* Is there any charge if i change my travel plan such as travel dates, tour itinerary, hotels,...?
We are happy to work on your requests, and will not charge you any money. However, if it is too urgent and the date is too close, the hotels or airlines may chare you some money, in this case we will let you know.

* What is the latest time that I can make my reservation?
We suggest you make reservations at least one month before the departure date. If you decide to travel to Vietnam in May, September or October which is peak season, we recommend you make the reservations two months (at least one) before your departure date. Late reservations can not be guaranteed for the availability of domestic flights, hotel rooms, etc.

However, we DO accept late reservations, things are possible at Vivutravel.

* What about Cancellation policy?
In case of cancellation, we will not impose any charges if we are not being charged and possible to get refund from our suppliers but if our suppliers apply charges for cancellation, you will have to pay those charges that apply. Cancellation policies vary, depending upon the type of service, the time of year, and the reason for cancellation. We will pass on to you all details of any cancellation policy with our transparent reply upon demand.

General cancellation charges that applied by travel services in Vietnam and Indochina.

- Domestic flights: 25% of the fares
- 3 star hotels, no charge if you cancel 5 -7 days before your arrival. (FIT)
- 4 star hotels, no charge if you cancel 10 - 15 days before your arrival (FIT)
- 5 stars hotels, no charge if you cancel 15 - 20 days before your arrival (FIT)

However, in peak season, we may have to pay the hotels one month before your arrival to secure the booking, and in this case, the cancellation policy will be based on the hotels' cancellation plolicies.

* Can we get refund?
For the unused services, Vivutravel will refund you the money.

* How do I get a visa?
Vietnam Visa - For those who would like to avoid the perhaps lengthening visa procedures with their local Vietnam's Embassies, the service of Vietnam Visa On Arrival is available for help. It is legitimated and supported by the Vietnamese Immigration Department. We recommend that you choose visa upon arrival, as picking up visa at the Vietnam int'l airport/border is quite simple, easy, no additional charges and no fail.

Steps to obtain Visa on arrival
a) Please provide the following information for us to apply for your visa.

1) Full name on passport
2) Passport number
3) Date of birth
4) Nationality
5) Date of arrival
6) Date of issue
7) Date of expire
8) Please make sure that your passport is still valid for 6 months

You can apply Vietnam visa online through our www.vietnamvisaprovider.com.

b) How long does it take?
It will take 2-3 days (Normal process), 01 day (Urgent process) to get the “Visa Approval Letter” which we will send you via mail. What you need is to print it out and take it along to get the stamp at airports/borders

c) Get the stamp
Upon arrival, you will need to fill in a certain form with your personal information, get the stamp and visa will be done. For this process, you will need to prepare 02 photos (4*6) and $25 USD each in cash which is stamping fee.

* Do our tour guides and drivers have meals with us?
The guide and the driver in each destination will dine at the same restaurant as yours. But, they will not join you unless you invite them.

* Where can I exchange our money into Vietnam currency?
We advise you to stop in any of a Vietnamese bank during the tour (Our tour guides will take you to the bank), you can also exchange money at your hotel, but the exchange rate is not really good.

* Can I use credit cards in Vietnam?
Major credit cards such as Master Card, Visa, Diner's Card, American Express and JCB can be used to purchase goods in large shopping malls and stores in the big and medium cities, to pay for hotel rooms and for meals in some of the fancier restaurants, and to buy plane tickets with them.

Note: If you are to travel to those small cities or even remote rural areas, only cash in Dong can be used.

* Do I need to bring my medical record with me?
Yes, we suggest you take your medical record with you in case that you need it in the event of an emergency, and please also take with you your doctor's name, address and phone number, emergency contact name and phone number, and your insurance company's name, address and phone number.

* When I finish my tour in Vietnam, if I still have some local money, what can I do?
Upon leaving Vietnam, if you still have some local money, you can change them back to foreign currency with your passport and the exchange memos given by the banks or money exchange counters. So please keep those exchange memos well whenever you change money.

* Tipping
Tipping is not compulsory, but expected by your tour guide and driver.  We advise you to tip as below:

- US$10 - $15 per day for tour guide
- US$7 - US$10 per day for driver

* Shopping

1 - Licensed at least for 4 years with working experience.

2 - Guiding does require more than just hanging out in the sun. Guides must be friendly and good with people, organized enough to keep groups or people on schedule, quick on their feet and ready for the inevitable snafus that arises.

3 - Must be an honest broker of their services and able to take criticism.

4 - Should be qualified at some level in health, health care or first aid.

5 - Able to relate to people from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds.

6 - Clear speech and good hearing.

7 - Must not be a alcoholic or No-alcohol during working time or anytime when on tour.

8 - Tour guide is a nurse to take care of visitors, a boss to keep the right itinerary, a teacher to give information, an ambassador to introduce our country, an entertainer

9 - Must be on time every time. Being late or delay is unacceptable.

10 - Check flight tickets, train tickets, meals, weather... to make sure things are in order and inform local office if any changes that might effect the tour.

11 - Solve problems with care when there is dissatisfy. Argument should be averted by courtesy.
