Arrival in Yangon (Dinner)

Welcome to Yangon, the capital of Myanmar, the city of French colonial buildings and Buddhist temples. After check-in the hotel, we will have a brief city tour of Yangon and the first stop is the awesome 70-meter high Buddha at Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda. Then enjoy the beauty of Kandawgui Park while tasting the tea made by the locals. Before sunset, get to the spiritual Shwedagon Pagoda – a spiral gold-covered pagoda and awe struck with its ethereal beauty.

Optional: Travel in style while sightseeing aboard the ‘Elephant Coach', an elegantly restored 1945 vintage Chevrolet.

Day 01

Yangon – Bagan (Breakfast)

For the second day of your Myanmar holiday, we will temporarily leave the peaceful capital city of Yangon and fly to Bagan – the city of holy temples.

With more than 2000 ancient temples, Bagan is one of the must – visit places in Myanmar. The city of Bagan was built in the 9th century and during about 400 years (from 9th to 13th century) this place had become home to more than 10,000 temples – an incredible number. Due to war and the collapsing of the empires in the Burmese history, Bagan has been destroyed partly and also the number of temples is not so unbelievable but still deserved to be proud of.

The major type of temples in Bagan is the stupa with spiral style like Silver Pagoda in Phnom Penh. Some of them become the must – see temples when coming here like Ananda Temple – a masterpiece of the Indian and Mon architectural style, Bupaya Temple – with its huge golden stupa at the entrance, Dhammayangyi Temple – a 12th century temple with Buddha statues inside.

Day 02

Bagan (Breakfast)

Bagan is not only famous for its numerous temples but also well-known for its culture and customs. Nyaung U will be the name that anyone coming here can not miss. In this local village, we will experience the craftsmanship of the local through their cute product like plum jam, lacquer ware and bullock carts.

In the afternoon, leaving the traditional villages of Nyaung U and take a boat trip on the great Irrawaddy River with its specialized species, the Irrawaddy Dolphins. After about an hour we will reach the temple of Kyauk Gu U Min, a desolate temple of the east Nyaung U town. Then, we complete the day with the visit to Sae Lan village and witness the daily life of the locals as farmers and fisherman before come back to Bagan.

Day 03

Bagan – Heho – Inle Lake (Breakfast)

Say goodbye to the plains of temple Bagan, we take a flight to Heho and enjoy the beauty of Inle Lake – the second largest lake of the country and also a part of the spectacular Shan Hills. Then moving deeper in the surrounding forest, we will see many houses on stilts, unique leg-rowing fishermen and solemn pagodas. In the afternoon, we will experience the traditional product of the area by taking a visit of the weaving village of Inpawkhone where you can see the how thread are separated and the best cheroot are made. In the evening, a delicious dinner on the romantic lakeside is waiting for you. Overnight at Inle Princess Resort, Inle Lake.
Day 04

In Dein – Inle Lake (Breakfast)

One day is not enough to experience all the beauty of Inle Lake and its surrounding scenes so we will spend today enjoying the whole natural beauty of this awesome lake. A boat trip will take us travel around the lake and visit the Pa-Oh village of Indein – a typical Burmese village then move to Kyar Ton village and have a delicious lunch with peaceful surrounding scenery.

In the afternoon, a canoe will take us to Tharlay village which has numerous stilted houses and floating gardens with various fruits and vegetables like the floating villages in Cambodia and Vietnam.

Afterward, back to the hotel and relax with spa or whatever. Overnight at Inle Princess Resort, Inle Lake.

Day 05

Inle Lake – Yangon – Flight to Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch)

The last day of your Myanmar travel, after breakfast, fly back to Yangon where the day is your leisure until your departure flight to Hanoi. If time allows, try one of our unique 'insider tours', one focusing on art and another on food to further explore the enigmatic city or head to the market for last minute souvenir. Upon arrival, our private Vietnam Tours guide and driver will welcome your Vietnam Holiday, pick up and transfer to the hotel for check in. Hanoi, a city where the exotic chic of old Asia blends with the dynamic face of new Asia. Where the medieval and modern co-exist. A city with a blend of Parisian grace and Asian pace, an architectural museum piece evolving in harmony with its history, rather than bulldozing through like many of the region’s capitals. Day 06

Hanoi City Tour – Train to Sapa / Lao Cai (Breakfast)

Hanoi without a doubt is a beautiful stop for your Vietnam Travel. Today, we enjoy a full day city tour of this charming capital city including the mausoleum of the nation's founder Ho Chi Minh (close on Monday & Friday), the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, the impressive Ethnologic Museum (or Museum of Fine Arts, Army Museum, History Museum, Woman Museum, Hoa Lo Prison), the beautiful West Lake, the Tran Vu Pagoda, the peaceful lake of the Restored Sword. Late afternoon we take a cyclo tour for a short excursion through the bustling old quarter streets named after the specific goods once offered for sale at these places. Enjoy a glass of "Bia Hoi - draught beer - included" at Ta Hien Street before we enjoy a fantastic traditional water puppet show. This evening, we will transfer you to the train station to experience a Vietnam train ride to Lao Cai.

Day 07

Lao Cai – Sapa Tour (Breakfast)

Arrive in the early morning in the border town of Lao Cai where it's a short transfer to Sapa (Vietnam's recommended tour). In the terraced hills and mountains of this area, the monotony of the expansive green landscape is enlivened by the colours of its hill tribe population. It is here you will find hands stained with colour from fabric dyes and shades of blue, red and green intricately embroidered and stitched into jackets, waistcoats, pants, skirts, caps, purses and leggings.

Take a morning walking tour of Sapa for a visit to the busy market where Red Dao, Black & Flower H'Mong, Tay and other ethnic minority people converge from the surrounding countryside to sell their silverware and handicrafts, and to buy provisions. Afterwards, at about 9 am, we take the drive to the trekking point and trek down to Ma Tra village of the Black H'Mong people, the beautiful walk through the terraced rice filed and it is very interesting to experience the daily life of the locals when you stop for visit to one of the families. Picnic lunch on the way then we continue to Ta Phin village of the Red Dao people. Explore the village then private bus back to Sapa. Free at leisure and overnight in Sapa.

Day 08

Lao Cai – Sapa – Hill Tribe villages (Breakfast, Lunch)

Sapa - The Queen of the Mountains, overlooking a beautiful valley, lofty mountains towering over the town on all sides, Sapa Tour is gateway to another world of mysterious minority cultures and luscious landscapes and great choice for Vietnam Tours maker to arrange Vietnam Culture Tours, Vietnam Trekking Tours, Vietnam Homestay Tours... Day 09

Sapa – LaoCai & Train to Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch)

The markets in the Northern Vietnam are always the colorful meeting places for the hill tribes, spotlight for any Sapa Tours and of course, your unique Vietnam Tours experience. Minority people come down from the mountains to sell their products, or just for catching up on the latest news, gossip, drinking away troubles or seeking for lover. In the morning, drive to visit one of the areas weekly markets;

Day 10

Hanoi – Halong Cruise (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Pick up from the train station, this morning, we have already arranged a room in a mini hotel for you to have shower and breakfast. We start at 8.00 A.M for the 3 hour drive (170 km) through the Red River Delta, which offers plenty of chances for taking photos of Vietnamese farmers tilling the vast green paddy fields. At half way, we'll have a visit to a handicraft workshop with fine clothes, embroidered paintings, stone statuettes and all kinds of gems mined in Vietnam such as star rubies or sapphires... Our destination is the World Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay. The bay offers some 3000 mountain islands and islets towering in the Gulf of Tonkin in the East Vietnam Sea.

Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed on board our luxury junk and treated with wine and fresh local seafood. As our junk gliding further into the tranquility of Ha Long Bay amid the towering mountain cliffs and on the emerald green water, you'll have relaxing time combining the fine tastes of the wine and the freshness of Ha Long Bay. During the cruise, we'll stop some times for visiting the amazing Sung Sot cave and the Ti Top white sand beach before anchoring for the night. Overnight on board the junk in the wild of Halong Bay.

Day 11

Halong Bay Cruise – Hanoi – Flight to Hue (Brunch)

It is said that your Vietnam Tours will not be complete without a tour to Halong Bay and spending one night on romantic Halong Cruise. People describe Halong Bay as majestic and mysterious, inspiring and imperious and words alone cannot do justice to the natural wonder that is Halong Bay, a priceless collection of unfinished sculptures hewn from the hand of nature.

After breakfast, we'll take a little sampan to visit a secret lagoon of Ha Long Bay while the surrounding mountains are just waking up. After that our cruise takes us further into the Bay of Bai Tu Long traveling past the Human Head Island, the Turtle Island, and the Duck Islet... to the studio site where the famous Indochine film was shot. Around noon, our junk travels back to the harbor, pick up and drive back to Hanoi. Stop in Hai Duong to visit the famous Con Son pagoda. Transfer back to Hanoi Airport for your afternoon flight with Vietnam airlines to Hue. Pick up and transfer to your hotel, evening free at leisure in Hue.

Day 12

Hue Tour (Breakfast, Lunch)

Hue is one of places, which has many cultural heritages. Up to now, there is no place like Hue remaining a lot of originally historical vestiges as in this ancient Capital City and favorite destination for all Vietnam Tours. After breakfast, our tour starts with the visit to Imperial Citadel before taking the beautiful boat trip on the romantic Perfume River and visit Hue's best-known religious site-Thien Mu Pagoda and the Mausoleum of former emperor Minh Mang in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes. Return to the hotel. Free at leisure. Overnight in a Hue hotel.
Day 13

Hue – Drive to Hoi An (Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast, we drive to Hoi An Ancient Town - highlight of any tour to Vietnam - is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. Its buildings and its street plan reflect the influences, both indigenous and foreign, that have combined to produce this unique heritage site. This scenic drive passes through the fishing village of Lang Co before climbing over the Pass of Ocean Clouds. Along the way, stop in Danang to visit the Cham Museum, which contains the finest collection of Cham sculptures in the world. Upon arrival in Hoi An, free to take walking tour of the Hoi An ancient town centre. Overnight in a Hoi An hotel.
Day 14

Hoi An Cooking class (Breakfast, Lunch)

We start the day (8.15am) with a welcome drink at Hai Café (98 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Hoi An Ancient Town, Tel: 863210) – our meeting point.

Visit Hoi An’s colourful market, and experience the amazing sights, sounds and aromas of this busy market. We will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers and learn about all the ingredients to be used in the cooking lesson later.

We board the Red Bridge boat for a leisurely cruise (25 minutes) along the Hoi An River to the Red Bridge Cooking School. This is a chance to view local river life, so make sure your camera is handy.

On arrival, we explore the cooking school’s herb garden, before learning about some of Hoi An’s and Vietnam’s well-known dishes. The cooking lesson runs for about 2 hours – the Red Bridge chefs first demonstrate each dish before we prepare the same dish ourselves. Included in the class is a brief introduction to Vietnamese food carving (plate decoration). After the lesson, we sit down and eat what we have cooked.

Bring your swimsuit and after the cooking tour has finished relax and enjoy free use of our new 20 metre swimming pool.

Day 15

Hoi An – My Son Tour – Hoi An (Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast, we invite you an interesting visit to My Son Holy land, once the spiritual capital of Champa Kingdom that dominated South East Asia for nearly a thousand years and occupied most of the central parts of Vietnam from 2nd century to 16th century with very rich in history and culture. Contemplate its remarkable red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between the 7th and 13th centuries.

Drive back to Hoi An, end of your today's beautiful Vietnam Tour with visit the former merchants' homes, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Pagoda and the colourful riverside market. Overnight in a Hoi An hotel.

Day 16

Hoi An – Danang – Flight to Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast)

Transfer to the airport for your flight with Vietnam airlines to Ho Chi Minh city. Met upon your arrival and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, we will do the city tour of Ho Chi Minh City, formerly Saigon, visiting to Reunification Palace, the Thien Hau pagoda and the environment of Ben Thanh market. Tour ended at about 5 pm, we come back to our hotel for two nights in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 17

Ho Chi Minh – Tay Ninh – Cu Chi Tunnels – Ho Chi Minh (Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast, enjoy a morning drive through typical southern Vietnamese countryside to Tay Ninh Province in the west of Vietnam. At Tay Ninh visit the incredible Cao Dai Great Temple, with architecture that could have come straight from a Walt Disney fantasy and where all the major faiths of the world blend together in a unique religious cocktail. In the afternoon, visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence where you will understand more about the Vietnam War or American War, a must see Vietnam Tour for any tourists to learn about Vietnam past and present days. Overnight in a Ho Chi Minh hotel.
Day 18

Ho Chi Minh City – Cai Be Floating Market – Can Tho ( Breakfast, Lunch)

Today we will start our exploration of the Mekong Delta, a major rice producing area. This must be one of the most fascinating riverine deltas in the world. The Mekong splits into nine major arteries. A vast network of rivers and waterways with thousands of ships of all sizes plowing the waters gives the Mekong Delta a very special atmosphere and no double one of the most favorite destinations for Vietnam Tours. On arrival,we will make a boat trip to the Cai Be floating Market, visit villages and meet the people of the Mekong Delta. Continue your boat trip to An Binh Island for Lunch in a local family and bike trip in the afternoon. Continue to Can Tho – the heart of Mekong Delta in Vietnam. Day 19

Can Tho (Cai Rang Floating Market) – Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast)

Ho Chi Minh city Departure (Breakfast)

We are happy to work on your requests, and will not charge you any money. However, if it is too urgent and the date is too close, the hotels or airlines may chare you some money, in this case we will let you know.

* What is the latest time that I can make my reservation?
We suggest you make reservations at least one month before the departure date. If you decide to travel to Vietnam in May, September or October which is peak season, we recommend you make the reservations two months (at least one) before your departure date. Late reservations can not be guaranteed for the availability of domestic flights, hotel rooms, etc.

* What about Cancellation policy?
In case of cancellation, we will not impose any charges if we are not being charged and possible to get refund from our suppliers but if our suppliers apply charges for cancellation, you will have to pay those charges that apply. Cancellation policies vary, depending upon the type of service, the time of year, and the reason for cancellation. We will pass on to you all details of any cancellation policy with our transparent reply upon demand.

- 3 star hotels, train tickets, no charge if you cancel 3-5 days before your arrival. (FIT)

* How do I get a visa?
Vietnam Visa - For those who would like to avoid the perhaps lengthening visa procedures with their local Vietnam's Embassies, the service of Vietnam Visa On Arrival is available for help. It is legitimated and supported by the Vietnamese Immigration Department. We recommend that you choose visa upon arrival, as picking up visa at the Vietnam int'l airport/border is quite simple, easy, no additional charges and no fail.

b) How long does it take?
It will take 2-3 days (Normal process), 01 day (Urgent process) to get the “Visa Approval Letter” which we will send you via mail. What you need is to print it out and take it along to get the stamp at airports/borders

c) Get the stamp
Upon arrival, you will need to fill in a certain form with your personal information, get the stamp and visa will be done. For this process, you will need to prepare 02 photos (4*6) and $25 USD each in cash which is stamping fee.

* Do our tour guides and drivers have meals with us?
The guide and the driver in each destination will dine at the same restaurant as yours. But, they will not join you unless you invite them.

* Where can I change our money into Vietnam currency?
We advise you to stop in any of a Vietnamese bank during the tour (Our tour guides will take you to the bank), you can change money at your hotel, but the exchange rate is not really good.

* Can I use credit cards in Vietnam?
Major credit cards such as Master Card, Visa, Diner's Card, American Express and JCB can be used to purchase goods in large shopping malls and stores in the big and medium cities, to pay for hotel rooms and for meals in some of the fancier restaurants, and to buy plane tickets with them.

Note: If you are to travel to those small cities or even remote rural areas, only cash in Dong can be used.

* Do I need to bring my medical record with me?
Yes, we suggest you take your medical record with you in case that you need it in the event of an emergency, and please also take with you your doctor's name, address and phone number, emergency contact name and phone number, and your insurance company's name, address and phone number.

* When I finish my tour in Vietnam, if I still have some local money, what can I do?

4 - Should be qualified at some level in health, health care or first aid.
