Thank you Vivu travels for organizing an amazing 10 days Vietnam itinerary for me! I wanted to spend most of my time in the mountains of north western Vietnam and immerse myself in the culture of the local people. As a solo female traveler, sales agent Kim took extra care in ensuring I had the best accommodations and overall experience.

Quang was my tour guide and a lover of mountains. I started my trip in Hanoi, then to Sa Pa, then the most magical drive to the most mystical mountains of Hà Giang, and finally we ended our trip in the glorious Cao Bang. Quang’s knowledge about the region amazed me and I learned many things about the ethnic minority culture, history and rituals of north western Vietnam, type of foods and more. Hai was our driver and he got us to our destinations safely, and always kept the car in top condition. I did not have one bad meal during the entire trip, nor did I get sick.

The food we had everywhere was delicious, always fresh farm to table and made with love. I also changed my itinerary while driving to Sa Pa. I decided not to do Halong Bay instead go to Hà Giang, and Kim was able to make things happen. I’m so glad I made this decision with Quang’s insight.

If you’re a mountain lover like me, enjoy long drives with endless changing landscapes, looking into the local people’s lives, and love hiking, you have to do this route, you will not be disappointed!
