Covid-19 pandemic has changed everything and travel will not be the same as before. At the moment, people are still in "wait and see mode", but traveling is a need after months under lockdowns and social distancing. So the question is how will people travel? Domestic travel will be the trend. People will travel somewhere close to their home first and that can be 3-5 day trip within driving disctance. When travel wins confidence, people will travel farther and farther and plan for longer-term holiday. Many countries resume international flights and re-open the borders from July, but Vivutravel advises you to plan the trip for the end of 2020.

4. Flexible Itinerary
Always travel in Vietnam with a flexible itinerary and schedule. So, do not book a group tour or fixed departure date trip. Let book a private tour to Vietnam with a local tour operator who knows best and is quick in response to your needs and changes.

5. Isolated Hotel and Resort
A local tour operator should advise, but it is better if you require isolated hotels and resorts during your trip in Vietnam as it will be safer. If it is not possible in big cities, ask to book a villa or a boutique hotel which is well sanitized.

6. Refund and Cancellation
Make sure to get refund of the deposit or unused services if you cancel the whole trip or part of the trip. 7. Tested Yourself

9. Travel history
The success of Vietnam in controlling the pandemic is to trace the travel history of an infected person (F1) to find F2, F3 and even F4, and then ask them to self quarantine at home or at a quarantine center. Traveling from one place to another may be difficult to find down, but it definitely help to warn people and prevent the pread of infection in community. When traveling in Vietnam, you may be asked to show your travel history, so remember to have a pen and note book to write down in case of being asked for.

10. Carry all essentials
Remember to print out your travel documents, tested result, medical and travel history as well as prepare some medicines that you may need. Please also bring masks (actually you can buy in Vietnam or provided by your tour operator), gloves, sunglasses, hand sanitizers, knife and fork. 11. Remember all the guidelines
It is advised to perform hand hygiene frequently with soap and water or with an alcohol-based hand rub. Remember to cover your nose when coughing or sneezing with tissue and clean your hands immediately. Below are some other guidelines recommended by WHO:

1. Always maintain at least 1 metre (3 feet) distance and don't step into crowded places
2. Try to Avoid touching eyes
3. Follow good respiratory hygiene
4. If you have a fever with cough and difficulty in breathing, inform your tour guide, tour operator first or your hotel or contact a relevant medical services immediately
5. Always use face mask when advised by your tour guide.
