•    Raffles Le Royal was built by the French back in 1929. It was actually used as a warehouse by the Khmer Rouge so it required a thorough refurbishment which the Raffles Group did in 1999. It is just a short walk to Wat Phnom and the river and offers the excellent service that you would associate with the Raffles name.

•    The Intercontinental Hotel on Mao Tse Tung Blvd is favoured by visiting dignitaries. It is in the South West of the City so not ideally located unless you are happy taking regular taxis.

•    Phnom Penh Hotel is close to the French Embassy and recent renovation means it is well worth considering.

•    La Rose Suites close to the Independence Monument is a five star boutique hotel mixing modern luxury and traditional Khmer hospitality. The shade offered by the area around the saltwater pool and bar is lovely.

•    Kravan Hotel near Monivong Boulevard is a modern hotel in the heart of Phnom Penh.

•    Central Mansion close to the U.S. Embassy is a beautiful building in the heart of the commercial/cultural district of the city. Central Mansions is serviced apartment accommodation great for those on a Cambodia family vacation. There are two pools, jacuzzi, bar and restaurant.
