Excellent holiday! My husband and I enjoyed our recent 19 day holiday in Vietnam and Cambodia. While we have done lots of traveling, this was our first trip to this area of the world. We felt the tour organized by Vivutravel for our group of 16 was excellent value and provided a varied and interesting itinerary. We stayed in some lovely hotels and enjoyed very good meals each day in a variety of restaurants. Vivutravel's tour guides ensured that our days went smoothly and that we learned lots about the cities we visited. We particularly enjoyed our guides Thao in Hanoi and Hui in Hue. I also want to comment on Tuan and Chi who have been so kind to a me in their efforts to reunite me with a favourite shirt I left behind in our hotel in Saigon. They are going above and beyond anything a traveler could hope for! Thank you!
We normally just book flights and hotels, even if we are going to several places in our holiday. It didn’t seem appropriate for Vietnam especially because we had little experience of Asia. We looked for a travel agent to help us and opted for Vivu Travel in Hanoi. Hanh asked us about our interests and made a few suggestions from Vivu Travel’s list of tours. In the end, she recommended this tour covering the best of Vietnam and Cambodia. It used short flights so that we could cover a large area quickly without missing anything essential on the ground. We had three different guides in all, each of whom were very knowledgeable about their region. We especially enjoyed the company of Hanh in Ho Chi Minh City while Chau’s driving in the busy streets of Hanoi was amazing. It was certainly something I would not contemplate myself. Thanks again, Vivu Travel.
This was my second trip to Indochina; the first was Thailand many years ago but more and more people seemed to be talking about Vietnam so I decided to find out what all the fuss was about. My choice was a tour combining the best of Vietnam and Cambodia in the two weeks I had available. I checked on the best tour operators online and settled on Vivu Travel in Hanoi. One of its consultants, Ngoc, took me through the detail of the tour and assured me that the company’s guides and drivers would ensure a smooth and trouble-free trip; she was certainly right and the photographs I have to reinforce my memories have impressed many of my friends. I’m not sure I could have seen all this without the help of Vivu Travel and I would particularly like to thank my driver, Trung and guides Loan, Linh and Tien.
I wanted to plan a special trip for my son and me prior to his fall semester. We have never been to Vietnam and Cambodia before. I did a Google search and found Vivutravel. I was really skeptical at first but the whole experience was fantastic. Ms. Trang – our travel consultant sent us travel itineraries with a surprising amount of details (names of hotels, sample activities and price), all within our budget. I could not get any happier with the trip and the service provided by Vivutravel. They were incredibly responsive upfront in answering my questions about the itinerary and customizing the tour to fit our needs. They arranged all the details: private transportation to and from the airports, hotel reservations, private tour guides, entrance tickets, flight tickets and restaurant recommendations. My son and I did not have to worry about anything - they took care of all the details so we could relax and enjoy the trip. So overall, it was such a wonderful memory for me and my son. Thank you Vivutravel so much. Very well done!
