Personalized tour: Ho Chi Minh to Hanoi We started in Ho Chi Minh and traveled north to Hanoi. We found the packaged tours too busy and we wanted more beach time. We worked with Lan at Vivutravel and came up with the perfect tour for us. Our last 3 days were spent relaxing on the island of Phu Quoq. Just what we needed after all the hustle and bustle of the big cities. Our favorite place was the town of Hoi An - beautiful beach, colourful city and market. Our trip included a cruise in Ha Long Bay, Mekong Delta and many other usual tourist spots, but we also were able to enjoy some downtown and just soak in the local flavor.
Tim and Danielle, together with their friends, had a wonderful time travelling with Vivu and saw much more than if they had travelled on their own, using public transport! The advantage of using a company like yours, instead of the organised tours that a widely advertised here, is that you are not waiting for fellow travellers and if there is something you do not like, you can just move on. Wishing everyone at Vivutravel they very best of everything. I hope you are having a wonderful tourist season. Thank you for your thoughtfulness. Kind regards, Lys McMillan
13 Day-The Real Vietnam Tour Private Tour I can't say enough about how fantastic this trip was and it was all thanks to Hoai at Vivu Travel! We told her how we wanted to travel and what we wanted to see and she tailored it to perferfection. The drivers and guides were top notch, spoke english very well and cleverly arranged our visits to attractions when it was the least busy to make sure we got the most out every experience. Mr. Do guided us through Sai Gon and the Mekong Delta. He instantly made us feel welcome and was very kind and funny. Mr. Huy was our guide through Hoi An and Hue. He is an amazing photographer and helped us get beautiful photos. Our private guided bicycle tour through the Hoi An countryside was a definite highlight and his recommendations for restaurants was spot on! Our final guide was Mr. Thong for Hanoi and Halong Bay. He took us on an amazing walking tour of the Old Quarter of Hanoi. He also tailored our street food tour to accommodate food preferences. A special shout out to his driver that got us through the craziest traffic jam that I have ever experienced with ease. Just to recap: Hoai Nguyen and her team of professionals at Vivu Travel will plan your holiday to perfection. This has definitely been our favourite trip to date and we will certainly be booking with her when we plan our trip to Thailand and Laos!
I used Vivu Travel to plan a tour for a group of university students who spent over two weeks in Vietnam, one week in the North (Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Sapa, and Ky Son) and one week in the South (Saigon, Cu Chi Tunnels, and the Mekong Delta). Vivu Travel organized the logistics (transportation, hotels, food, a comfortable tour bus, and a terrific tour guide named Ving. The agency performed flawlessly, meeting each and every one of our needs with speed and efficiency. I highly recommend them!
So far everything has been wonderful. Lan and Do both went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. The choice of hotels and restaurants was great. Heading to Hanoi now, definitely visit Vivutravel and tell them how much we love the country.
Very well organised trip. The country is beautiful. Guides were knowledgeable and really helped us by finding Hala food places to eat, even on the plane. Highly recommended Vivutravel.
Excellent service and tour guides . Well planned trip. People are very friendly. Vietnam is a very safe country.
Vietnam has so much to offer in terms of history and culture. Your guide and driver were very professional, helpful, peasant and informative. I was very satisfied with your service. I will return, thanks Vivutravel
Very satisfied with Vietnam vacation, we enjoyed the variety of experiences in big cities like Hanoi, Saigon, small city like Hoi An, Hue, but the best was Halong bay and all that we learned from our guides. Vietnam is so beautiful, so much more to see and places i would like to visit again and again.
Thank you for organising the tour for us. We certainly have a wonderful time. Here is our feedback: The guide was very knowledgeable and speaks good English. The tour was well organised. For the visit to Ceramic Village we would like to suggest the following: 1. A video on the history of ceramic in Vietnam, the development and the current status of the ceramic industry. 2. An opportunity for the visitor to make a simple mug or plate and have their photos taken and imprinted on the mug or plate. The cost could be built into the tour price. (people tend not to participate if they are told they have to pay extra.) 3. Good to have a small classroom session to introduce visitor to the art of ceramic making. The above would not be within your control but we hope you can feedback to the Tourism Authority. Once again thank you very much and we hope to use your services again in the near future. My friend and I have just returned from a 14 day tour and it was truly awesome! We had always wanted to visit Vietnam and chose Vivutravel from an internet search. We had a tight budget, but our travel consultant Ms. Hanh was amazing at making sure we could see as much as possible. Even though we stayed in budget accommodation, it was still perfectly good. My highlight has to be the vespa ride around Ho Chi Minh city, such a fun way to see the city. My friend was so nervous, but our guide Ms. Loan put her mind at rest. We loved Ms. Loan, she was funny, friendly and so knowledgeable. We never thought we would be able to afford such an amazing holiday, but thanks to Vivutravel we DIDI. Yay to Vivutravel, we will tell all of our friends about you!
We have come home for a rest! My husband was so nervous about using a tour operator, but we were blown away by the professional service we received. Our consultant Ms. Lan recommended our tour for us and we left our 14 days in her capable hands. All of the bookings were organised and we even let her book our accommodation too, we could choose where we wanted to stay in each city, which was a nice touch. Our tour was jam packed full of stuff to see and do and each city meant new sights and places to discover. A particular highlight for me was the dinner cruise in Nha Trang, excellent traditional food and cocktails made for the perfect evening. My husband simply loved exploring Ho Chi Minh city and enjoying all the food on the street food tour. i never thought he would try Pho, but he did and like it! We simply loved our time in Vietnam, a big thank you to Vivutravel and their exceptional staff. We will be back.
Four of us just retuned from an amazing 14 days! As four guys traveling together, we decided to use a tour operator to help us squeeze as much in as possible. Vivutravel were great at booking everything for us, from our accommodation to all of our travel and tickets to some of the temples and museums. We spoke to Ms. Thuong who was great at communicating with us! The bike tour in Hue was a highlight for all of us as well as the sunset cruise in Halong Bay. Even as four guys traveling together we found it fun and we were never bored! We could not believe how mental the roads are in Vietnam and we had utter respect for our very funny driver Mr. Ha - he was always on time and we felt safe with him. Thanks to all the guys at Vivutravel, we had an awesome time in your country.
