We have just returned from an extraordinary 3 week trip to Vietnam organised with Kim Dung of Vivu Travel. Their company tag line is - Beyond Expectations - and this really is not exaggeration. From the planning and booking of the trip to its execution, every bit of it was smooth, thorough, calm, well-organised, thoughtful. In short, it really was perfect! Kim was endlessly patient in planning and preparing the exactly right trip for us, listening to precisely what would suit our family, not missing a single detail, and we felt we had someone there supporting us throughout the trip whenever we needed it. Other special mentions go to all our 3 tour guides, who were so well informed and totally there for us, in particular the incredible Thong with whom we spent a wonderful 11 days. All in all, we can't recommend VivuTravel enough for anyone wishing to explore this amazing country.
Hi Lan We offer our last set of hotel comments: The Bamboo Village Resort was lovely & restful. To be able to walk to the pools, and swim there and also on the beach before breakfast was excellent. It never felt overcrowded. The meals were great and the prices reasonable when compared to other hotels we stayed at. We noticed all the other guests taking pictures of the hotel gardens which were superb. They organised a Saturday evening event with live entertainment and dinner which was fun. That's the end of hotel reviews! So you see we are still enjoying our trip when we are back in England!! Next time we come to Vietnam we'll be in touch! All best Peter & Thelma
Great trip seeing a beautiful country from north to south including Hanoi, Sapa, Halong Bay, Hoi An, Mekong delta, Da Lat, Mui Ne. Could not ask for more in one trip. Thanks Vivutravel, you are the best!
Our driver was very good and our guide knew answers to all of our questions. We really enjoyed our small group of 2 people and will return because there is so much more of the country to see.
We were very satisfied with the guide. He was at the airport waiting for us despite our plane being 2 hours late. We really enjoyed the food tour, the culture and the friendliness of the people.
There are so many highlights to this tour. My husband simply loved our visit to Giang Ta Chai Village, the trek to see the waterfall was well worth it. We then trekked through the bamboo forest to Ta Van village of Giay people, it was stunning and we felt like we had found a place undiscovered. Some of the destinations, like Ho Chi Minh city and the Cu Chi tunnels were very busy, but our guide Ms.Loan always made sure we arrived early to beat the main crowds. Hue and the King Ming Mang and King Khai Dinh tombs were a highlight for me. This 21 day tour certainly takes in the best of what Vietnam has to offer. We found the tour operator to be so professional and all of our accommodation, internal flights and excursions went without a hitch. Our guides were helpful. A great tour.
This tour was an amazing, extraordinary, eventful vacation to Vietnam. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Service was top notch, professional excellent. We booked this vacation through vivutravel who we found to be especially helpful and thoughtful tour operators with great staff. We were allocated guides and drivers at each city and we found all of them to be so helpful. They were all so courteous well informed and provided excellent service throughout our visit. We visited so many destinations on the tour and each part was well organised. We especially loved Hanoi and Halong Bay and our amazing fishing tour with a local fisherman. All of the locals were friendly and did not mind us asking them questions or taking pictures. You have to stay in the Melia Hotel in Hanoi and the street food tour was just amazing. We ate so many local dishes, I did not know you could do so much with rice! A vacation we will never forget and highly recommend this tour.
We finally decided upon this tour as we really wanted to visit Sapa. This really is the ideal tour if you want to experience the diverse side of Vietnam. We were taken to some amazing places that felt like they were undiscovered by other tourists. Hang Da Church is steeped in history and you get to see the local villagers who are rarely visited by tourists. We trekked through a bamboo forest and learnt so much about traditional life. Sapa ethnic market is colourful and full of extraordinary crafts, food, spices and clothing. Not to be missed. Our tour guide made sure we arrived early to beat the crowds too. Vivutravel and their guides were great throughout the entire tour. Even though we chose to spend time at our own leisure when we did want to book an excursion it was never too much trouble. 21 days of pure joy and a tour that offered so much. Thank you to everyone at Vivutravel.
