The sand dunes are easily reached by renting a local cab or hiring a scooter for the day. The white dunes are approx 25 km northeast of Mui Ne and close to a lotus lake with plenty of greenery surrounding the local area. The white dunes are free to explore and great to try a bit of sandboarding. Also, quad bikes are available to hire per hour for about $20. Also, the red dunes are worth a visit and closer to Mui Ne. Climb to the top of the white dunes to get wonderful views of the ocean.

Dragon fruit farms
The Binh Thuan Province is well-known for its dragon fruit with farms covering thousands of hectares. There are a lot of farms along the A1 highway with tour companies often stopping at one of these for tourists to have a look.

Go Kite Surfing
Kite surfing is a major thing in Mui Ne. The beach has a perfect combination of wind and waves for locals and travellers to try out this fun and exciting activity. Plus, there are plenty of kite surfing shops nearby that rent out the relevant equipment. Also, for the complete novice, there are plenty of kite surfing schools along the beach, but the cost of this is quite high at about $50 per hour.

Beyond kite surfing, the wide and spacious beach has plenty of beach chairs to hire, but with the heavy wind and whirling sand, this may not make the most pleasant lounging experience.

Most of the tours take place in a jeep which costs about $20 per person with a maximum of 4-6 people in each vehicle.
