ITINERARY

Day 1: 7 July  Hanoi arrival

Day 2: 8 July Hanoi city tour – night train to Sapa

Hanoi without a doubt is an exotic city for your  Indochina tours .Today we enjoy a full day Hanoi city tour of this charming capital city including the mausoleum of the nation's founder Ho Chi Minh (close on Monday & Friday), the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, the impressive Ethnologic Museum, the beautiful West Lake, the Tran Vu Pagoda, the peaceful lake of the Restored Sword    . Afternoon we take a cyclo tour for a short excursion through the bustling old quarter streets named after         
the specific goods once offered for sale at these places. End Hanoi city tour with a fantastic traditional water puppet show.
8PM: we transfer you to Hanoi train station to get a night train to Lao Cai. Overnight on train

Day 3: 9 July  Lao Cai – Sapa tour
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Arrival Lao Cai train station in the early morning, where our private tour guide and driver welcome you to Sapa – the queen of mountain. After breakfast, we do one of the most beautiful destinations in Sapa by trekking to Lao Chai, Ta Van villages. The home of Black H’mong and Zay minorities by trekking down to the valley by the small trails through the terrace rice fields to get to Y Linh Ho hamlet, a small village of the Black Hmong people. It is time for you to visit the local families, listen to your guide's explanation about the local culture: how they live, way of building the traditional house, techniques of making clothes...     
Get back to Sapa by private car and overnight in Sapa.

Day 4: 10 July Sapa – Cat Cat village

After breakfast at hotel, our tour guide in Sapa will escort you to Cat Cat village. From Sapa we wil take a ligh trek to get a stunning view from Muong Hoa valley and Hoang Lien Son mountain range with a nice Faxifan Peak.
Arrival Cat Cat village, you have more chance chatting with local people and more understanding about daily life of different minorities in Sapa. Relax and take some nice photo in Cat Cat water fall before walk up the the main road, where our private car transfer you back to Sapa for relax.
In the afternoon, free at leisure and overnight in Sapa.

Day 5: 11 July Sapa – Can Cau colorful market – train to Hanoi

The markets in the Northern Vietnam are always the colorful meeting places for the hill tribes, spotlight for any Sapa Tours and of course, your unique Vietnam Tours experience. Minority people come down from the mountains to sell their products, or just for catching up on the latest news, gossip, drinking away troubles or seeking for lover. In the morning, drive to visit Can Cau colorful market. In the late afternoon, your Sapa tour guide and driver transfer you back to Lao Cai to catch the night train back to Hanoi. Overnight on the train.

Day 6: 12 July Hanoi – Ninh Binh
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Pick up from the train station and continue your best Indochina Tours by heading south for the two hour drive along Highway One. We spend one hour visiting the Dinh and Le sanctuaries. These are the two remaining temples of the ancient citadel of Hoa Lu. The first is dedicated to Dinh Tien Hoang (also known as Dinh Bo Linh), an Emperor from the Dinh Dynasty. The second commemorates the rulers of the Le Dynasty. Dinh Bo Linh successfully conquered Vietnam’s first independent rulers, the Ngo Dynasty. On his death in 980, General Le Hoan wisely married Dinh’s widow and established the Le Dynasty and enlarged the citadel.         
We then move on to Tam Coc - Poetically penned ‘Halong Bay on the rice paddies’, the area around Tam Coc boasts stunning scenery. While Halong Bay has rugged rock formations jutting out of the sea, here they soar skywards from a sea of green. After a three hour boat trip along the Boi River, we do beautiful trip to Bich Dong pagoda for visit to a very nice pagoda and cave.  Overnight in Tam Coc.

Day 7: 13 July Ninh Binh – Halong bay cruise
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

 8.00: We start to Halong bay
12.30: Arrive at Paloma office, Halong City. Transferred by tender to Paloma Cruise – enjoy welcome drink. Receive cruise briefing, check in cabins and begin your cruise.
13.30: Having lunch – delicious Vietnamese set menu (Massage service is available after lunch and throughout the tour).
15:0: Head to Bai Tu Long Bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations in the bay. Visit the Vung Vieng fishing village by local rowing boat (01 hour) or Kayak into the village then return to the     
vessel for your leisure or join one of the following optional  activities: Sunbathing, traditional massage, swimming etc.
18:00: Drop anchor in the calm water surrounded by islets near Hang Trong. Happy Hour (sunset party).
18:30: Vietnamese cooking demonstration on boat.
19.15: Sumptuous Set-dinner onboard.
21.00: Relaxing on your cabin or join the on board activities: film entertainment, light music for dancing in the dining room (please book in advance with your tour guide), board games and playing cards are available, and massage services are available. Passengers may also try their luck at squid fishing from the boat.

Day 8: 14 July Halong – Hanoi
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

06.15: Starting your day with Tai Chi on the Sundeck while complimentary tea & coffee are served. 07.00: Have breakfast
08.00: Explore the Surprise Cave (Sung Sot Cave).
08:15: Transfer by tender to the Surprise Cave. Walk up about 100 steps to the cave entrance and tour the cave for approximately 45 minutes. Walk down about 100 steps and return to the boat. 10.00      Upon return to the boat you will have 30 minutes to freshen up and finish packing. Please remove all of your belongings from the cabin, you may leave heavy luggage outside of the cabin (staff will transfer directly to the pier).     
10:30: Enjoy Set Menu for lunch in the dining room. We will settle bills after lunch. Relax on the sundeck or in the dining room enjoying the bay scenery as we approach the pier.
11.45: Arrive at Hon Gai Harbor. Transfer by tender to the pier where our private car and tour guide transfer you back Hanoi for overnight.

Day 9: 15 July Hanoi – flight to Danang
Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast at hotel, our private tour guide and driver will come to your hotel and see you off Noi Bai airport for your flight to Danang.
