As promised our feedback on the Vietnam trip. First of all a huge thanks to you and Vivu Travel. You have organized everything perfectly and the trip went like clockwork. We know exactly how important it is for guests to feel that the trip which is “out of their comfort zone” is well organized. You did this perfectly.

Guides:
Hanoi, Halong
He was very nice, punctual and knew the history well. His English was okay but not good enough to have a general conversation apart from his knowledge as a tour guide. Please don’t get me wrong, he is perfectly okay but if he could master a bit more English to be able to have a general conversation it would be an added bonus.

Hue, Hoi An
Very good guide, super English and sense of humor. Very much enjoyed the time with him.

Ho Chi Minh
Again a very pleasant guide and his mate the driver. We spent a lot of time with them due to driving times and really enjoyed their company.

Hotels
Really liked the Indochina, Little Hoi An (it is right on the riverbank with a very nice bistro overlooking the river, and a very short walk to the old town) and the Victoria. In my opinion the Majestic is overrated and in need of maintenance. I think you should look for an alternative.
For arrival the Peridot is totally fine albeit lacking a bit of charm. The roof terrace is great and the fish restaurant opposite perfect.
Ocean Bay was nice, good service and comfortable room.

Activities:
Halong Bay: super experience, nice boat, good food and excursions.
All sightseeing in towns were well planned and interesting.
Highlight was the food tour on the Vespa. Great experience.

So again many thanks for putting this together for us, we had a great trip and we will definitely recommend you to friends if it happens they want to go to Vietnam.
