Day 1 07th July                        Hanoi arrival

Day 2 08th July                        Hanoi city tour

Hanoi without a doubt a beautiful start for your Vietnam Tours. Today we enjoy a full day Hanoi city  tour of this charming capital city including the mausoleum of the nation's founder Ho Chi Minh (close on Monday & Friday), the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, the impressive Ethnologic Museum, the beautiful West Lake, the Tran Vu Pagoda, the peaceful lake of the Restored Sword.

Late afternoon we take a cyclo tour for a short excursion through the bustling old quarter streets named after the specific goods once offered for sale at these places. In the evening, we end Hanoi city tour with a fantastic traditional water puppet show.

Day 3 09th July                        Hanoi – Hoa Lu & Tam Coc – Hanoi

Depart your hotel this morning at 0800 for the 2-hour drive through rural northern Vietnam to the site  of Vietnam's first capital, Hoa Lu. Ready the bikes and start the trail route cycling to the temples dedicated to  Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang of the Dinh Dynasty (968-80), and Emperor Le Dai Hanh of the Le Dynasty (980-1009). The ancient Hoa Lu Citadel (most of which has since been destroyed) once covered an area of three square kilometers.

On arrival in Tam Coc have a Vietnamese lunch. After lunch, board your private sampan for a leisurely 2.5-hour cruise. As the boat gently slices through the water, notice the enormous limestone karsts jutting out from the green rice fields. Late afternoon, drive back to Hanoi.

Day 4 10th July                        Hanoi – Halong bay – Overnight on cruise

13h00   Savor a delectable lunch as Oriental Sails cruise further along the limestone islands of Fighting Cock,

15h30   Visit Amazing Cave and kayak along the hidden parts of the bay

16h30   Cruise back to the main boat.

Day 6 12th July                        Halong bay – Hanoi

06h00   Start your day with swimming, exercise or photo hunt

07h00   Have breakfast at sunrise. Cruise through Drum Cave Island, Man’s Head Islet, Van Gia Fishing Village and then head back to the Harbor.  Disembark Oriental Sails at around 11h00

12h00   Transfer back to Hanoi.

16h30   Arrive in Hanoi.

Day 7 13th July                        Hanoi – Flight to Hue

Free at leisure until we pick up and transfer you to the airport for your flight to Hue (VN1543 HAN 11:50 HUI 13:00). Upon your arrival in Hue, pick up and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Hue.

Day 8 14th July                        Hue city tour

Hue is one of places, which has many cultural heritages. Up to now, there is no place like Hue  remaining a lot of originally historical vestiges as in this ancient Capital City and favorite destination for all Vietnam Tours. After breakfast, our tour starts with the visit to Imperial Citadel before taking the beautiful boat trip on the romantic Perfume River and visit Hue's best-known religious site-Thien Mu Pagoda and the Mausoleum of former emperor Minh Mang in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes. Return to the hotel. Free at leisure. Overnight in a Hue hotel.

Day 9 15th July                        Hue – Drive to Hoi An

After breakfast, we drive to Hoi An Ancient Town - highlight of any tour to Vietnam - is an  exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. Its buildings and its street plan reflect the influences, both indigenous and foreign, that have combined to produce this unique heritage site. This scenic drive passes through the fishing village of Lang Co before climbing over the Pass of Ocean Clouds. Along the way, stop in Danang to visit the Cham Museum, which contains the finest collection of Cham sculptures in the world. Upon arrival in Hoi An, free to take walking tour of the Hoi An ancient town centre. Overnight in a Hoi An hotel.

Day 10 16th July                      Hoi An cooking class & free day

We start the day (8.15am) with a welcome drink at Hai Café ( THE COOKING CLASS IS PREPARED FOR MRS MARY PRYCE & MR RORY ).

(98 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Hoi An Ancient Town, Tel: 863210) – our meeting point.

Visit Hoi An’s colourful market, and experience the amazing sights, sounds and aromas of this busy market. We will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers and learn about all the ingredients to be used in the cooking lesson later.

We board the Red Bridge boat for a leisurely cruise (25 minutes) along the Hoi An River to the Red Bridge Cooking School. This is a chance to view local river life, so make sure your camera is handy.

On arrival, we explore the cooking school’s herb garden, before learning about some of Hoi An’s and Vietnam’s well-known dishes. The cooking lesson runs for about 2 hours – the Red Bridge chefs first demonstrate each dish before we prepare the same dish ourselves. Included in the class is a brief introduction to Vietnamese food carving (plate decoration). After the lesson, we sit down and eat what we have cooked.

Bring your swimsuit and after the cooking tour has finished relax and enjoy free use of our new 20 metre swimming pool.

Day 11 17th July                      Hoi An free day

Hoi An Ancient Town - highlight of any tour to Vietnam that no Vietnam Tours maker would skip, is an  exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. Its buildings and its street plan reflect the influences, both indigenous and foreign, that have combined to produce this unique heritage site.

Day free to cycle through rice paddies in the countryside of Hoi An ancient town, shop for souvenirs among the antique shops and art galleries, or just sit at sidewalk cafes and soak up the atmosphere of this quaint town. Or relax on the white sandy beach of the famous China Beach. Overnight in a Hoi An hotel.

Day 12 18th July                      Hoi An – Danang – Flight to Ho Chi Minh

Transfer to the airport for your flight with Vietnam airlines to Ho Chi Minh city (VN1311 DAD 10:30 SGN 11:40). Met upon your arrival and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, we will do the city tour of Ho Chi Minh City, formerly Saigon, visiting to Reunification Palace, the Thien Hau pagoda and the environment of Ben Thanh market. Tour ended at about 5 pm, we come back to our hotel for two nights in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 13 19th July                      Ho Chi Minh – Tay Ninh – Cu Chi tunnels – Ho Chi Minh

After breakfast, enjoy a morning drive through typical southern Vietnamese countryside to Tay Ninh  Province in the west of Vietnam. At Tay Ninh visit the incredible Cao Dai Great Temple, with architecture that could have come straight from a Walt Disney fantasy and where all the major faiths of the world blend together in a unique religious cocktail. In the afternoon, visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence where you will understand more about the Vietnam War or American War, a must see Vietnam Tour for any tourists to learn about Vietnam past and present days. Overnight in a Ho Chi Minh hotel.

Day 14 20th July                      Ho Chi Minh – Cai Be floating market – Can Tho

Today we will start our exploration of the Mekong Delta, a major rice producing area. This must be  one of the most fascinating riverine deltas in the world. The Mekong splits into nine major arteries. A vast network of rivers and waterways with thousands of ships of all sizes plowing the waters gives the Mekong Delta a very special atmosphere and no double one of the most favorite destinations for Vietnam Tours. On arrival, we will make a boat trip to the Cai Be floating Market, visit villages and meet the people of the Mekong Delta. Continue your boat trip to An Binh Island for Lunch in a local family and bike trip in the afternoon. Continue to Can Tho – the heart of Mekong Delta in Vietnam. Check in on your arrival, free at leisure and overnight in a Can Tho hotel.

Day 15 21st July          Can Tho – Cai Rang floating market – Flight to Phu Quoc

In the morning, we make the boat cruise to see the Cai Rang floating market (the nicest one with  heaps of rowing boats), truly highlights of any Vietnam Tours where you will enjoy the beautiful scenery and see the daily activities of the locals who live along the Mekong canals and later, you will roam through the village to visit a rice husking mill, a rice noodles making shop which are nice chances to discover the daily life of Vietnamese people in Mekong Delta. Around noon, transfer to Can Tho airport for the short flight to Phu Quoc (VN1014 VCA 12:55 PQC 13:40). Met on arrival and transfer to your resort. Overnight in a Phu Quoc hotel.

Upon your arrival in Siem Reap, pick up and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 19 25th July                      Siem Reap – Angkor Thom – Angkor Wat – Siem Reap

Siem Reap is the last stop and a surprise for your Indochina Tour. Morning visit to the South Gate of  Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Terrace of Elephant, Terrace of Leper King and Pimean Akas. Lunch at local restaurant.

Afternoon visit to the famous temple of Cambodia, Angkor Wat then continue to visit the Bakheng Hill temple with Sun Set included from the top of this hill, back hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 20 26th July                      Siem Reap – Tonle Sap lake – Phauk village – Siem Reap

This morning, we take a wonderful cruise on Tonle Sap Lake for 1hour, visit floating village and   fisherman life, then back to visit Chantie Ecole-Artisan D’Angkor and Old Market. Lunch at local restaurant.

This afternoon, transfer to visit the base of Silk Village Phauk, it’s the village of Marble work, silk weaving and silk sewing and back to visit West Baray. Back hotel. Dinner at local restaurant and enjoy traditional Khmer folk performance of Apsara.

Overnight in Siem Reap.
