Now that I am back in England and our holiday in Vietnam seems a long way away, I thought that you and Vivutravel might like to have some informal feedback on our experience. Let me first say that we were both very pleased with the service that your agency offered us: very prompt, efficient and flexible. We will recommend you to friends and acquaintances who may wish to visit your country.

The internal travel and transfers were all very good. We found the trains generally clean and comfortable and really enjoyed our night rides.

The level of competence of the guides varied quite a lot: our first and last guides were the best, with the highest score for our Ho Chi Minh City guide, who also had a good sense of humour and was quite willing to discuss politics, history etc.

 Hanoi impressed us in a number of ways, the cruise on Ha Long Bay was unforgettable, food included; the mountains region is very varied and picturesque and in the south we particularly enjoyed the visit to the Mekong delta and wished we had stayed overnight at a local home-stay instead of the hotel in Can Tho. The lunch on the delta was excellent. Let's hope that one day we will be able to return to Vietnam for another long holiday.
