We have searched on the web and contacting many tour companies. We have choose Vivu Travel for two weeks experience in Vietnam. This tour was well planned and itinerary was very flexible. Our young guide was helpful . He was not boring with unnecessary details but gave us all the information whenever we ask him. We had the extreme pleasure. We learnt about Vivutravel occasionally in the Internet. So we double-check in Tripadvisor and we had a very good experience. The service and tour recommendations were excellent. The answers were very fast and we had to change our trip several times due to special request. The tour we finally did was a great experience and we were so happy to meet all tour guides always in time. They were even very flexible if we wanted to change our tour. All in all very professional and helpful!!

“Excellent holiday!”

My husband and I enjoyed our recent 19 day holiday in Vietnam and Cambodia. While we have done lots of traveling, this was our first trip to this area of the world. We felt the tour organized by Vivutravel for our group of 16 was excellent value and provided a varied and interesting itinerary. We stayed in some lovely hotels and enjoyed very good meals each day in a variety of restaurants. Vivutravel's tour guides ensured that our days went smoothly and that we learned lots about the cities we visited. We particularly enjoyed our guides Thao in Hanoi and Hui in Hue.

I also want to comment on Tuan and Chi who have been so kind to a me in their efforts to reunite me with a favourite shirt I left behind in our hotel in Saigon. They are going above and beyond anything a traveler could hope for! Thank you!

“Super service from Vivutravel”

We just returned from a three week vacation in Vietnam. The trip was booked directly with VIVUTRAVEL (----) and we are very satisfied with the service. The itinerary (Hanoi-Sapa-Ha Long-Hue-Hoi An-Saigon-Mekong-Phu Quoc) was put together very well and Mr. Tuan was always helpful and available (did he ever leave the office?). Even a change in plans (flooding in Hoi An) was carried out quickly and without problems. Tour guides were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and always on time.
We can only recommend working with Tuan @ Vivutravel.

By luck I contacted ViVu Travel on the Vietnam Tourism web site and found that their ability to customize an itinerary was exceptional being so flexible as to my requirements. They did an excellent job arranging the destinations with hotels, meals, guides and interesting tours to great sites, historical and otherwise.
Whatever snag that arose were efficiently and promptly rectified to our satisfaction.
All in all, our group of 16 truly enjoyed the trip and would certainly recommend ViVu to any of our friends and all other who wish to visit Vietnam and Cambodia.

I first met Tuan when he was my tour guide of Sapa in 2002. I have kept in contact with him since then and in 2009 I returned to Vietnam with three friends. Tuan organised our trip. He is fantastic and has great staff working for him. Every time I emailed him looking for information before our trip he emailed me back almost immediately. As I expected our trip was well planned with lots of communication between us.
I also recommended Tuan and VivuTravel to my cousin and his family and they used him for their trip in early 2009. They still rave about their trip.

“FANTASTIC VIETNAM ADVENTURE”

VIVUTRAVEL organised our itinerary for 2 weeks travel North to South Vietnam. Their attention to detail is exceptional, their guides extremely knowledgeable - the hotels were fantastic and overall value for money ( compared to UK brochure prices ) was very good. VIETNAM is a country of great contrasts - the North ( Hanoi ) we found cooler with a colonial feel and although busy retains great charm and character. Moving down the coast we would recomend an overnight VIP boat trip in Halong Bay ( mind blowing ), stops in Hue & Hoi An ( stay 2-3 days ) a brief stay in Saigon ( dissapointing ) and then onto the Meekong Delta ( Cu Chi Tunnels & Tay Ninh are a must ) and a beach break ( we stayed in Phan Tiet - but this is 3 hours drive to and from Saigon....) Suggest finding beach stop near the Delta.

Overall, I would highly recomend VIVUTRAVEL who will suggest an itinerary according to your needs. They are extremely proffesional and get you to the heart of the country.They offer a lot of extras that other companies do not ( most meals are included - but food and drink is extremely cheap and good quality ).

“Great holiday”

Vivu travel was recommended to me by a friend who has travelled to south East Asia for the last 10 years. I contacted Mr. Tuan and asked him to send an itinerary based on the sort of activities my wife and I enjoy. I received a very quick reply and was most impressed with what was proposed, I made one minor adjustment and promptly booked the holiday.
We were met at Ho Chi Minh City airport by a guide and driver and from then on it was plain sailing, we had enough time on our own but if we needed the guide all we had to do was call. At other times we were driven around, taken places, went on boat trips and all this without us having to do anything, it was all organised. During the holiday Mr. Tuan phoned a couple of times to make sure we were happy and that showed me he cares about his clients.
All in all a most relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

“Amazing Experience”

I was a solo, female traveler who had only been outside the United States one time before my trip to Southeast Asia and I couldn't have felt like I was in better hands than with Ms. Chi and Vivutravel! I initially contacted their office almost 6 months before my arrival just to get a quote and not only did they have the best price but the most thorough itinerary and prompt response time (even with a 14 hour time difference)!

When I initially contacted Ms. Chi I had a general idea of which cities I wanted to visit, but she helped me plan out how long in each place and found me amazing accommodations even with a tight budget. I opted to do a 14 day tour starting in Hanoi and ending on Phu Quoc island which was fantastic. With such a short trip to see an entire country, my schedule was pretty jam packed, but I was always picked up promptly from every hotel and every airport for all 14 days with no issues. All of my tour guides were very thorough and kind and everyone seemed excited to share their city with me. And even with all the sightseeing tours, I still had plenty of time to do some exploring on my own and come home with some personal favorite places.

Honestly, I can't say enough great things about Vivutravel and Vietnam! The people are so genuine and warm, the scenery is postcard worthy at every stop and the food is amazing. I've already recommended Vivutravel to all of my friends back home and I think everyone should plan a trip to see this wonderful country!

“Fabulous South East Asia”

We booked with Mr. Tuan, Vivu travel after a recommendation from friends who had travelled with them before. This was my fifth trip to South East Asia and I decided to book a tour as I was travelling with a large group of friends. We started In Vientienne, Laos working our way to Hanoi in Vietnam, down to Saigon via Hoi An and Nha Trang then on through Cambodia. The itinerary I received prior to the trip was very comprehensive, custom according to my travel plans and with a mixture of hotels picked by me and recommended by Mr. Tuan. On top of that the price was extremely reasonable.

The trip itself from start to finish was fantastic. The hotels were of a very high standard, guides exceptional, and transport first rate. The highlight was when we arrived at Halong Bay and found out we had a whole Junk ship just to ourselves. My personal favorite was Cambodia whilst my cousins was Vietnam. The girls in our group loved Laos. This was the best thing about our trip, the itinerary was designed so everyone found something they loved doing. Furthermore the guides were very accommodating happy to alter anything depending on what we felt like doing and offering a wealth of knowledge as to what to do during our leisure time (this was mainly directing us to the best pubs and bars in town haha).

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Vivu travel to anyone wishing to organise a trip to South East Asia. Of all the traveling i've done this trip was by far the best. In fact Mr Tuan is organising another trip for us all for this coming Jan to Thailand. I'm confident that it will be just as good as the last.

We contacted Tuan via email to help plan our trip to Vietnam with 3 teenagers and found him wonderful to deal with. He planned a comprehensive trip, made some great suggestions and was very prompt and relaible in getting back to us. The trip was fantastic and hassle free. We were met at each place by experienced drivers and the local guides were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. All accomodation was great and the trip went very smoothly. We could never have managed to have such an enjoyable trip and see so much without Tuan's help. We would highly recommend his travel service and would contact him again if we return.

This was a really good trip. Vivutravel were very flexible. We changed quite a lot as we were travelling and it was no problem.
Vietnam is a 'must see' place. The people, the food, the scenery, are all fantastic.
Vivutravel is the way to do it.
We asked Duc (our guide in Hanoi) to take us to a real local restaurant for lunch in Hanoi. He said that he would pay if there was another European there. There wasn't and it was great!!
Every part of the country was terrific in its way, country and city.
Go there with Vivutravel and go round the whole country for as long as you can; it's worth it

“Perfect Organizer”

With a friend I did a Tour in Vietnam and booked this Tour with Viviutravel. We coosed a 11 days Tour starting in Hanoi and ending in Ho Chi Mingh City.
Tuan and his Team did a great job. They worked out a Tour according to our wishes/needs. We redceived a warm welcome when we arrived in Hanoi. We meet three well adjucated and best informed Guides. They we able to answer all our questions.

We can fully recommend Vivutravel to other travellers and if we come back to Vietnam, we will again book with Vivutravel. They are a reliable Organizer.

“Incredible experience”

I strongly recommend VIVU travel to anyone who is thinking about a holiday in Vietnam. Our holiday to Vietnam was near perfect thanks to the meticulously planning by VIVU. We starting planning for the trip a couple of months in advance and during this time we changed, added, deleted many parts of the schedule. Vivu travel was very helpful in adding their suggestions and to ensure that the trip panned out well. Mr Tuan, the organizer, was incredibly patient, humorous and bright. His painstaking efforts of handling all our requests & concerns are highly commendable.

We had a wonderful travel experience throughout our stay in this beautiful country, this included visits to cu chi tunnels, rural side of Vietnam - Mekong river, coconut candy factories, bee farms, Puppet shows. The trip helped us in experiencing vietnam’s culture, learning her fascinating history and capturing her essence. By the end of the trip we had developed a deep appreciation of the vietnamese values, resilience, tenacity and ingenuity

Overall our holiday in Vietnam planned to the T by Vivu - the itinerary, experience, timing, food arrangement, the tour guides worked perfectly well for us. We have no hesitation in recommending VIVU travels to all prospective tourists visiting Vietnam

We were recommended to Vivutravel by a customer at our bookstore and at first we were a little nervous booking online / via email. But I have to say the experience was 100% and would and have recommended Tuan myself. We travelled to Vietnam in Jan 2011 and wanted a mix of budget and high end acommodation for my husband and 1 for 3 weeks. Tuan was able to meet our individual travel needs and also our budget - it totally catered to teh range of places and things we wanted to do and meant we could travel on our own with flexbility but also with reasssurance that accommodation was there at the end of the day or suitable tours arranged. Suggestions for a two day stay on the Mekong and a place for my husband to do a cooking school were excellent and really memorable. Prebooking the flights / overnight trains made travel easy and always we had guides arranged by Tuan who were prompt, explanatory and appropriate for travel or tours or were able to just do our own thing for a few days which is how we wanted this hoiday to be. Changes were able to be made when we got to Vietnam and realised we wanted to have a homestay whilst in Sapa. Tuan and VIVU are professional, helpful and reliable. We even got to meet Tuan and the VIVU crew in Hanoi and it was great to know we had booked our holiday with locals who knew the area, and also that the money was being invested in the local community we were travelling to.

“Vivu Travel : an efficient, honest and adaptable agency for our personal tour”

It's always risky using an agency half a world away to book a major holiday, especially when - reasonably enough - much of the cost has to be sent in advance. However, right from initial email contacts, I had a good feeling for Vivu Travel, and its director Tuan. In short, he efficiently arranged all aspects of our 17-day tour of Vietnam, right from his team meeting us at Saigon airport, to seeing us off at Hanoi airport. A succession of guides/drivers awaited us at each leg of our trip (we took 2 internal flights), suitable hotels were booked (using a mixture of his sugggestions and mine, following my own researches), and informative sight-seeing tours undertaken. He was always amenable to adapting his initial tour suggestions to my requests (eg discarding some lunches, adding an extra day here, removing one there). Tuan himself, whom we eventually met on our last day in Hanoi, is charming, anxious to provide a personal service, and open. In short, my wife and I can thoroughly recommend this agency. And, as for Vietnam itself... well, a trip to remember with warmth and joy, and definately a place we shall re-visit.
