“Vietnam Tour”

We started planning our family trip to Vietnam about 3 months ago with the detailed help of Kim Dung from Vivutravel. She was completely thorough with very detail of every day and tour. We were away for nearly three weeks and travelled from Siem Reap in Cambodia, to Ho Chi Minh, to the Mekong Delta, to Hoi An, to Hue and on to Hanoi and Halong Bay. Kim worked with me via email to put together a tailored family adventure for us to ensure the kids would enjoy and learn from the experience as well as mum and dad. Travelling around so much with three younger children we needed to have everything coordinated and Kim ensured that it was.

We were greeted at each stage by helpful, English speaking and very knowledgeable guides, not only did they conduct the tours, they ensured that our hotels were great, recommended great restaurants and ensured our checkin on flights went smoothly, which we did three. We had one problem with a hotel in Ho Chi Minh city and Kim moved us straight away to a fantastic hotel. I can not recommend this company enough for anyone traveling through Vietnam!!!

We did look at various tour companies from Australia but they were not flexible and not really catered for families. We saw some of the package tour groups on our travels being heard in packs and we were so happy to have our personal guides who were flexible and could change things as we went - one day I was really sick and they moved everything around so I could have a sleep and not miss anything! Thank you Kim Dung and Vivutravel for a wonderful, wonderful holiday!
