“Fantasic 2 week private tour”

I started my research on Trip Advisor to find which was the best way to book.. . I came across good reviews with Vivu Travel, so decided to take the plunge instead of going through a uk operator. (same price for a tour with up to 20 people and 3 days less)

After about 4/5 emails between myself and Ms Trang about an itinerary, we decided on a 14 night trip to Vietnam & Cambodia... Ms Trang replied back straight away with any questions I had. Every step of the way was so easy. We paid a deposit at the beginning and the rest when we arrive. Our visa approval letter and form was sent to us, along with all the hotel details and flights We were met at the airport with our guide and drivers at each place.. Always there with a smiling face, and cold water to drink! We never lifted a case or opened a door the whole time.. They were very knowledgeable about their area.. All the passes and entrance fees, boat rides tuk tuks ride are all included

The hotels we stayed in were 3/4 * to suit our budget, and we were happy with them all! Ms Trang had told them it was our anniversary and each place had flowers and fruits for us! When we were picked up to be taken back to the airports, the guide even came in with the bags to the check in desk!!

If you are wondering wether to go to these amazing places don't hesitate to use Vivu. We were so happy with the 1st class service! We saw other tour groups and thought how lucky we were with the private personal touch. Fantasic!

Day 02 :        22nd March   2015 Hanoi City tour

Hanoi without a doubt is a beautiful stop for your Vietnam Travel. Today, we enjoy a full day city tour of this charming capital city including the mausoleum of the nation's founder Ho Chi Minh (close on Monday & Friday), the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, the impressive Ethnologic Museum (or Museum of Fine Arts, Army Museum, History Museum, Woman Museum, Hoa Lo Prison), the beautiful West Lake, the Tran Vu Pagoda, the peaceful lake of the Restored Sword.

Late afternoon we take a cyclo tour for a short excursion through the bustling old quarter streets named after the specific goods once offered for sale at these places. Enjoy a glass of "Bia Hoi - draught beer - included" at Ta Hien Street before we enjoy a fantastic traditional water puppet show.

Day 03 :       23rd March   2015 Hanoi – Halong Bay Cruise

Halong tour must be the most beautiful tour in Vietnam for any Vietnam Holidays. We start at 8.00 A.M for the 3 hour drive (170 km) through the Red River Delta, which offers plenty of chances for taking photos of Vietnamese farmers tilling the vast green paddy fields. At half way, we'll have a visit to a handicraft workshop with fine clothes, embroidered paintings, stone statuettes and all kinds of gems mined in Vietnam such as star rubies or sapphires... Our destination is the World Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay. The bay offers some 3000 mountain islands and islets towering in the Gulf of Tonkin in the East Vietnam Sea.Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed on board our luxury junk and treated with wine and fresh local seafood. Day 04 :       24th March Halong Bay – Hanoi – Flight to Danang (Hoi An)

It is said that your Vietnam Tours will not be complete without a tour to Halong Bay and spending one night on romantic Halong Cruise. People describe Halong Bay as majestic and mysterious, inspiring and imperious and words alone cannot do justice to the natural wonder that is Halong Bay, a priceless collection of unfinished sculptures hewn from the hand of nature.

After breakfast, we'll take a little sampan to visit a secret lagoon of Ha Long Bay while the surrounding mountains are just waking up. After that our cruise takes us further into the Bay of Bai Tu Long traveling past the Human Head Island, the Turtle Island, and the Duck Islet... to the studio site where the famous Indochine film was shot. Around noon, our junk travels back to the harbor, pick up and drive back to Hanoi. Stop in Hai Duong to visit the famous Con Son pagoda. Transfer back to Hanoi Airport for your afternoon flight with Vietnam airlines to Danang. Pick up and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Hoi An.

Continue to explore Angkor Thom, the site of the ancient capital of the Khmer period. Visit the South Gate, Bayon, Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of Leper King. Continue to Ta Prohm, which many deemed the most charming of all the temples.

This afternoon, take a boat trip on the Tonle Sap Lake to observe the local’s life on water. Stop by at the Artisan D’Angkor and Old market for some shopping.
