One of the beauties of travelling is discovering new places before anyone else does. People looking for a Vietnam beach holiday have plenty of choice. Some beaches are now supported by a significant infrastructure of hotels and restaurants. Along the country’s extensive coastline there are many famous names but there are also Vietnam beaches that have yet to get on the tourist radar. Can Na Beach is perhaps one of them?
At present, Ca Na is little more than a fishing village with a stretch of sand. If you want a quiet time, and are not concerned about anything else, Ca Na is certainly a place you should consider.
It is close to the main highway running north to south in Vietnam, between the famous Mui Ne Beach and Phan Rang Thap Cham. This is a stunning coastline and travellers are regularly tempted to stop. Those that stop at Ca Na Beach will not find much development. Indeed, at present the buildings around look fairly dilapidated but development will surely come.
When it comes to things to do in Ca Na, Chua Lac Son Pagoda looks down over the beach and sea and it is certainly worth climbing up there to watch the sunset after a day lying on the beach and taking the odd swim to cool off. After the sunset, when it is time for dinner, the seafood is as fresh as it comes.
Vietnam weather varies by region. The Country covers so many degrees of latitude that it is bound to be the case. If you are covering the whole of the country, you are likely to move from one region’s dry season to another season’s wet. In terms this beach, the best time to visit Ca Naand this coastline are the months between December and April.
